This time around, Jessica Simpson is expecting a baby boy. Putting an end to the suspense, the 32-year-old singer-actress accidentally spilled the beans on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday night.
"I just feel awful, I've been vomiting," People magazine quoted the mom-to-be explaining about her second pregnancy experiences during the show. "The crazy thing is, I never knew that a wiener could actually make me nauseous."
When Kimmel started laughing and demanded an explanation, she added: "Well, I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy!"
Later Simpson admitted the whole incident as totally unplanned and a slip of her tongue.
"I can't believe I did that; that was not planned ... I just did it so crude, too. That was awful. I'm talking about wieners," she said.
This is the second child of Simpson with her fiancée, football player Eric Johnson. The couple welcomed their first child baby Maxwell May 1, 2012. Speculation about Simpson's second pregnancy first hit the Internet in November.
However, the expecting mom kept mum on the topic until she confirmed the news on Christmas Day in 2012. Simpson indirectly mentioned her second pregnancy by posting an adorable photo of her infant daughter Maxwell sitting on a beach, with the words "Big Sis" written on the sand.
During a chat with Ellen DeGeneres recently, Simpson revealed her second pregnancy as unplanned.
"We were definitely extremely shocked," People magazine quoted the expecting Fashion Star mentor as saying. "Apparently, protection just went out the window. I feel like I'm always pregnant. We're very happy."
And this is going to be her last pregnancy, if accidents don't happen in the future.
"I really hope that it stops," Us Weekly quoted Simpson telling Ryan Seacrest of KIIS-FM radio. "I think originally I had wanted three [kids] and now that I have one and another one on the way, I feel like I could stop here. It's a lot of work. Obviously it pays off and it's totally worth it, but it's a lot of responsibility."
