Have you been feeling a little unusual lately? Do you have thoughts that you might be pregnant, but you think it's too early for you to doubt if you are? If you have these questions running in your mind lately, then this article is just the one for you. A lot of women would not bother taking pregnancy tests or going to the doctor if they just had sex the other week, but little do they know that pregnancy symptoms can happen in just a week's time. If you are not that patient enough to wait for a couple of weeks to do the PT or wait for your period to come, here are some symptoms and signs that you can look into and see if you're pregnant.

8 Pregnancy Symptoms in Just A Week

  • Sore breasts. You might think sore breasts are normal especially when your period is coming, but when you feel like it's getting worse every day, you might need to think twice. Breasts become extra tender in just a week after conceptions. The reason behind this is you are producing that much estrogen and progesterone as early as a week, and your breast glands are starting to grow.

  • Unusual bleeding. You might notice or think that your period comes in just a short period, and it does not really bleed heavy. Some might experience just drops or spots of blood and the next day it disappears. This may be a sign of pregnancy because when the fertilized egg implants into the uterus in just six to twelve days, spotting might occur in the vagina.

  • Nipples get darker. If you happen to notice that your nipples are getting darker day by day, you might want to consider getting that PT already. Pregnancy hormones tend to affect the activity of melanocytes or the nipple cells that's why it changes in color.

  • Over-fatigue. When you're pregnant, fatigue is one of the most normal body response that you can get. A lot of progesterone is produced after conception that causes an increase in your basal body temperature, which results in a lack of energy.

  • Nausea. Morning sickness don't usually happen in just a week, but if you feel nausea every morning even if it's just after a week, this might be an early sign of pregnancy. The progesterone causes a lot of effects, such as effects on digestive processes that include constipation or indigestion.

  • Bloating. If you're pregnant, you tend to eat a lot, and when you do, there's a high chance that you will bloat and gain weight. Always remember that your digestive system can also be greatly affected by the increased levels of progesterone. If you are drastically bloating and your period has never arrived, you might as well consider taking the PT asap.

  • Peeing from time to time. Frequent urination is one of the early signs of pregnancy. Now, a lot of women, especially those who are water drinkers, might think it's normal for them to pee a lot. The uterus swells when you are pregnant, which will cause pressure on your bladder, which will make you pee more than you usually do.

  • Cravings. This has got to be the most common symptom a pregnant woman can get. Most pregnant women tend to crave a lot of food, including those that they don't usually eat. When this happens, you might need to check the PT.
