Chrissy Teigen is not afraid to share her life as a mother, a wife and a celebrity on her social media accounts. She is also vocal about her political views and she weighs in on trending new stories, making her one of the most relatable celebrities in Hollywood. But not everything that she shared to the public is for entertainment and fun, there are times wherein she gets real about social issues, like her IVF procedure, her postpartum life and all the times that she was mom-shamed by internet trolls.

In her recent interview with SheKnows, she opened up about the struggles of being a celebrity mom and how she went on to promote Pampers' #ShareTheLove campaign alongside fellow celebrity mother Shay Mitchell. The campaign is made to help inspire and support mothers on social media, reminding them that they need to take a step back, breathe and not be too hard on themselves.

Chrissy Teigen parenting confessions

Chrissy Teigen confessed that she was heartbroken when her daughter Luna was not bonding with her and they were not as close as she wanted them to be. She said "I felt so sad that she wasn't connecting with me because I'm her mother and I spend so much time with her. I'm nursing her, I'm doing everything I can for her." She also said that she had problems connecting with her son Miles.

The model and television personality also had a message for other mothers. She said that everyone should hold back on offering advice, even if they are well-intentioned because each mother's circumstance is different and it may not fit their current situation.

Teigen also mentioned that she is already ready for her children's teen years, and all the chaos, attitude and hormones that come with it. She stated, "You grow and you learn to empathize with people, and you learn to joke."

Teigen's glam team

Despite being a full-time mother for her two adorable children, Teigen looks glamorous every time she steps on the red carpet. But Teigen does not want to give off a false impression on other mothers, because she said that it takes a village to make her look red carpet ready.

Although she looks stunning every time and has the best team of stylists, hairdressers, and makeup artists, she said that she isn't a fan of being dolled-up. "These days, less is more," she confessed to Yahoo Style. "I feel like it's different for everyone. Some people love getting glammed up. I hate it. I hate sitting in that chair. It's painful for me. If I could choose my day, it would be waking up and putting on a face mask and making my skin clean and spending time with my daughter. There's not much else I care to do."

The model's confessions are heartening to know, and even though she is going through a lot in private, she makes sure that she got other mother's back and she tells it like it is. Teigen wants everyone to know her journey and share everything that she learns through every step in her life.
