Katy Perry is Having a Child with Boyfriend Orlando Bloom
Pop singer Katy Perry and actor fiance Orlando Bloom just announced that they are expecting their first child as a couple. The "Roar" singer revealed that she is pregnant in her music video for her new song Never Worn White on March 4.
At the end of her music video, the singer was shown cradling her belly bump as she was singing about her love for her actor fiance. Perry sings "Cause I've never worn white / But I want to get it right / Yeah, I really want to try with you." She also posted a snippet from the music video to her personal Instagram account with the caption "Let's just say it's gonna be a jam-packed summer..."

On March 4, Perry posted an announcement to her social media accounts stating "You are cordially invited to the premiere of #NeverWornWhite". She teased her fans with her new song and music video. Along with the caption, Perry also attached a video that lasted for three seconds. In the said video, she appeared as an epiphany while wearing a gown that was made with flowers. The fans immediately saw a baby bump, making the people speculate that she was not just announcing a comeback, but she also announced that she is going to be a mother.
Perry then went live on Instagram that night after her music video premiered and said that her pregnancy is the longest secret that she ever had to keep. She also stated that her due date is summer 2020. While Perry and her "Lord of the Rings" actor fiance Orlando Bloom have yet to prepare for their wedding and finalize everything, the two couldn't be more excited about the addition to their little family.
Perry and Bloom were an on-again, off-again couple since January 2016, and even though there are rumors that they broke up for good, Perry surprised her fans on Valentine's Day 2020 when she showed off the massive flower ring that Bloom gave her after he proposed. Two reliable sources told People magazine that Perry and Bloom wanted to have children sooner rather than later.
Keeping her pregnancy a secret
Perry also posted on Twitter right after the music video came out and confirmed the news. She said "omg so glad I don't have to suck it in anymore. Or carry around a big purse lol."
She also said during her Instagram live that she has a lot of plans this summer, and that includes giving birth to her first child. "There's a lot that will be happening this summer," the "Firework" singer shared. "Not only will I be giving birth, literally, but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for. So let's just call it a double whammy. It's a two-for."
Right after her pregnancy announcement, numerous celebrities shared their excitement over the news and congratulated the singer through social media. Cardi B posted on Twitter "'OMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG" after retweeting Perry.
Singer Katharine McPhee, Youtuber and beauty guru James Charles, Stranger Things actor Gaten Matarazzo, socialite Paris Hilton, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, singers Bebe Rexha and Halsey are just some of the Hollywood stars who congratulated Perry on her pregnancy.
