Keep Your Babies Near You

Babies and toddlers would always want to be with their parents. You will notice that when you are away, they will cry but once they see you, they are back to their jolly self. Let them be by your side as you work, so you can both have a good time.

Ready Busy Boxes

Place toys into a box and give it to your child when you are working. Then keep it once you are done with your work so that the next time around that you bring it out again, your kid will be excited to play with it again. Change the items inside every now and then so it looks new and they would not get bored.

Plan Ahead

Make a schedule of what your kids will do for the whole day so that they are kept busy as you do your job. You can include reading, singing, coloring, arts and crafts, math, and some activities that will allow you to work.

Set Expectations and Rewards

Talk to your kids about what they need to do. For instance, tell them to keep quiet when you have meetings at work. And reward them when they did a good job.

Let Your Kids Play

This means letting your kids run wild until all their energy is used up. This way, you would have the afternoon to work as they take a nap. As a bonus, they will get hungry so they would be easier to feed come lunch and dinner time.

Have A Breaktime With Your Kids

Kids like it when you give your attention to them. Playing with them for a few minutes would make them feel loved. Afterward, they can go back to playing on their own, and you get to work too.

Give Your Kids Free Time

Do not fill their day with activities, instead, leave some time for them to be bored. This allows room for creativity. Let them find what they want to do on their own.

Have a Designated Workspace

Having your own space to work everyday could help you to become more productive. But if you can work anytime anywhere, then that's good for you!

Seek Help

If your partner is also working at home, set a time of time of the day in taking care of your kids. You may let your partner have the kids during the day as you work, and then get the kids in the afternoon so your spouse can work.
