It’s Kelly Clarkson’s Birthday: Family Leaves Sweet Message
Kelly Clarkson turned 38 on Friday, April 24. Her family sent her a video of their sweet messages to celebrate with her. The video starred "The Voice" coach's husband, Brandon Blackstock, with their two kids, River Rose, 5, and Remington, 4, and with Blackstock's firstborn to a previous relationship, Seth, 13.
The four gathered outside in the woods near the Montana cabin where the family is isolating. The video started by an adorable River Rose grinning showcasing her tooth gap.
Wearing hot pink overalls, the five-year-old daughter started by uttering the words "I love you mom," then she wished her mom to have a good birthday. She added that she would sing a special song to her because it is her birthday.
Remington followed with a short and quick happy birthday. Then Blackstock reminded the four-year-old to tell his mom how much he loves her. So he did, and then he imitated his sister's message saying he will also sing his mom a special song.
Thirteen-year-old Seth also said his "I love you" after greeting the singer on her birthday. The video concluded with Blackstock's sweet message saying that he loves her more than she would ever know after his greetings.
Kelly Clarkson is Self-Isolating with her Family
Being together 24 hours a day, seven days a week, is enough to test their patience even if they are close. According to Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush of Today, Clarkson said that life is a bit "insane" inside their house. She said that 90 percent of the time, their children are still in shock every day because they have to do homeschooling and napping. But to her, it is "super fun."
The singer also said that she has been cooking and cleaning all the time while doing work for several things. Admittedly, it has been driving her insane. She added that she drinks wine sometimes, so it keeps them hanging on.
River Rose and Remington Celebrity Appearance
The "American Idol" alum's two children joined her during an interview at an at-home edition of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" earlier this month. The host and her guests, Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick, each had to find something related to them at home, so they grabbed the opportunity to show off the two kids.

The singer and her manager started dating in 2011 and got engaged in December 2012. Less than a year later, the couple got married.
In June 2014, Clarkson gave birth to their daughter River and then gave birth to their son, Remi in April 2016. Apart from Seth, Blackstock also shares daughter Savannah with ex-wife Melissa Ashworth.
Clarkson has been open about her relationship with the public. When asked if Blackstock is her other half in her May 2015 "Redbook" cover story, she answered that Blackstock is not her other half because they are both whole people. She added that she never believed in someone taking care of her because she grew up poor and without family stability.
The couple has a lot in common. Clarkson told Us Weekly in December 2019 that they both love getting out in nature, they also love the country because they are not city people. She added that they love bringing their kids to do stuff outside and in nature all the time.
