Bloom told Fox News early in March that they thought of pushing back their wedding but gave no details about it. Before the global pandemic happened, the couple had set two different wedding dates and had been doing their wedding plans for more than one year.
He said that the coronavirus pandemic could affect their decision making because they are planning on traveling and do not want anyone to feel uncomfortable.
A source told US Magazine that if the coronavirus pandemic did not happen, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom could have gotten married in April 2020. They were planning to have one local wedding party and another one that is a destination celebration. The couple is also planning to have a wedding ceremony in Japan in June, said a source to Page Six.
Katy Perry will not have a baby shower
During a Facebook live, Perry comforted one fan who was having a hard time staying positive" due to the postponement of her wedding. Perry told the fan that it was okay to have those feelings because even she had to reschedule many of her plans.
The singer shared that she also has struggles staying positive now that she is pregnant amid the health crisis because she is disappointed about not being able to have a babymoon or baby shower. She said that she is just taking one day at a time.

Perry shared that she is thankful for not giving birth early when the quarantine was first implemented, but she is also glad that both she and her baby are healthy. Apart from that, she is also thankful because she could spend quality time with her family before she gives birth.
She admits to getting highly annoyed about being in quarantine with her family in the four corners of their house because she is used to having a very busy schedule. However, now, after laying a new foundation with her family, their bond has become stronger than ever. She also said there were some horrible days when she wanted to cry, but she believes that when all of these is through, she will look back to enjoying all the beautiful bond that they have created.
Katy Perry first announced her pregnancy in her music video for the single "Never Worn White," in which she is seen cradling her baby bump. Later on, she shared an IG Live telling the public that she is pregnant and is due in the summer.
The singer revealed her pregnancy in her Twitter account after the music video was released. She said that she was glad that she does not have to "suck it in anymore" and said that she is going to have a busy summer ahead of her.
