4 Reasons Why Renting Is a Better Option [Leading Property Manager, GMH Capital Partners explains]

The coronavirus pandemic has created a new normal. People are expected to wear face masks in public. Hugging a friend even has become a thing of the past.

As health safety becomes a top priority for families nowadays, planning makes a living space safe, says GMH Capital Partners general manager, Brad Mawhinney. Such protection is something an apartment community can offer to residents during this coronavirus pandemic.

In an exclusive interview with Parent Herald, Mawhinney says, "A 300-unit apartment community with a solid plan for maintaining resident health can be a safer option than a single-family home that doesn't take cleaning and disinfecting as seriously."

He reiterates that the execution of preventive measures is the key to ensure that a living space is safe.

Why is renting a better option during and after the coronavirus pandemic?

Renting, according to Mawhinney, has been an attractive housing choice for families. He says that this fact does not change even during the coronavirus pandemic. Even more, renting became more appealing to some families.

Being a landlord can be challenging when you are doing it by yourself but having a property manager will improve all the processes of renting your property. The Rental Property Manager at Mynd offers several benefits and is serving all of Temecula today

Here are some of the reasons why:

There are a lot of amenities that come with renting.

Instead of going to other places to enjoy luxury amenities like a pool, home gym, outdoor theater, game room, or a pet wash station, these already come readily available in an apartment community.

Home repairs are free.

Part of the perks of renting is that repairs do not come with a price. Property managers are the ones who shoulder the expenses of these things.

Aside from the home repairs, yard work or property taxes are not the worries of renters as well.

There is freedom and flexibility in renting.

Moving to another place is no longer a problem when renting. Renters are allowed to stay for as long (or as short) as they want in an apartment community.

During the coronavirus pandemic, some workers are displaced and laid off from work. If in case they would need to transfer to another home, maintaining two residences would also mean too many expenses. Mawhinney says, "If a new job takes them to another city or out of state and they're unable to sell their home."

However, this is not the case for renters at GMH Capital Partners.

"Renters can usually transfer quickly to another community within their property management company's portfolio for little to no extra cost, or rent month-to-month at the conclusion of their current lease term."

Because of this, a family's decision to move to a place with better opportunities is not tied down to the location of their home.

Someone will be there to address your concerns.

Mawhinney says that every property manager feels it is their responsibility to keep their residents healthy and safe, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. He added, "Our property has spent tens of thousands of dollars to this end and researched every available option to make our community a place where families can live without worry."

Staffs are always available to handle any concern.
