The leading online dehumidifier platform in the USA is recruiting its very own 'Karen' to be the face and authority behind its new 'Call-a-Karen' service.

The service is being launched by DehumidifierCritic.com, which is hoping to find the most critical and opinionated person to thoroughly put products to the test.

The successful candidate will be paid $65 USD an hour and will be expected to write three onsite reviews per week. The right 'Karen' will be initially contracted to three months of employment, with the view to extend if the service is popular. In addition to her written reviews, DehumidifierCritic.com's resident critic will also be responsible for the 'Call-A-Karen' hotline, where she will consult and advise potential customers on any products they're interested in.

Members of the public who wish to apply for the role of 'Karen' can do so here: https://dehumidifiercritic.com/calling-all-karens/

The ideal candidate does not need to be a Karen by name but certainly needs to be a 'Karen' by nature. Applicants must be over the age of 21, have access to a property large enough to rigorously test products, as well as have a high enough standard of English language to put their thoughts into a format that is easy to understand and engage with. A professional telephone manner is also a must.

Perks of the role include remote working, a company cell phone, and flexible hours. The closing date for applications is the 31st of August.

Dehumidifier Critic is the number one platform for all dehumidifier needs. The platform, founded by Oliver Perryman, was born from the desire to help individuals find the right appliance for them, after discovering that a dehumidifier was the cure to his chronic health complications.

Oliver Perryman, founder of DehumidifierCritic.com, said,

"Being a 'Karen' in 2020 probably means you're going to have a hard time, but I wonder how many people stop and think about the potential benefits of being or knowing a 'Karen'.

"We want to utilise a 'Karen's' best assets and use it to ensure that we are not only providing the best experience onsite, but also helping members of the public to find the best product for them."
