There are ways that we can learn to know how to feel better quickly.

During these trying times, a lot of people are mostly feeling down. The stress because of the current situation that the world is experiencing today can be too much. The emotional tension that people go through these days can be rough and too much for them to handle. Like anything else, there are ways that people can do to uplift and boost their moods.

Although there are ways about how to feel better quickly, these are not long-term solutions. As experts say, these methods do not replace doctors, a good friend, or the work that people need to do to make themselves and their worlds feel better. But still, if people are feeling down and sad, they can try these methods.

Here are three ways on how to feel better quickly, based on experts.

Breathe

One simple, yet highly effective method on how to feel better that does not require any unique gadgets or tools, is doing deep and slow breathing. Deep and slow breathing can change in response to a person's emotions.

Experts say that with just a few minutes of deep and slow breathing, a person can decrease their feelings of anger, tension, depression, and even physical pain. There is nothing much that says a specific program of deep and slow breathing that you follow matters.

It is up to you to choose one that best fits you and is comfortable for you.

Work out and exercise

If deep and slow breathing does not give you comfort, then this next method of how to feel better may be for you.

Studies say that working out and doing exercise is a powerful way to boost your mood and increase your positive feelings. And it only takes 30 minutes of medium exercise to tame your anxiety and keep your emotions under control.

Only 30 minutes of working out are what you need to improve your mood for many hours. But working out is not for everyone. And if you are one of those people, you may want to try the next method to know how to feel better.

Write

Writing anything helps. You can write a letter for someone you are grateful for, and you can start having a journal and write down your thoughts, you write on a piece of paper then throw it after, basically, what you need to do about how to feel better is to write. That is one way of keeping yourself focused by doing one thing and shifting your focus and attention from your suffering.

This method is also most helpful for those who are not ready and who don't feel like talking to someone yet. Write down how you feel as a way to express your thoughts and emotions. You can even put drawings and doodle some art. Be free, express yourself, and feel better afterward.
