Most of the time, they might only have a good sleep in their parents' arms, car seat, or the stroller. But as parents, it is important for you not to give up.

To help you, here are some ways to help your baby with their baby sleeping challenges

You need to make the crib more motherly

Based on studies, a baby can tell if they are being held by one of her parents or someone else. The baby knows what her mother feels and smells like. Because of this, experts suggest that to help with baby sleeping challenges and make them sleep in their crib, parents need to make their crib more motherly.

If their baby is under 3 months, doctors suggest for parents to swaddle them, feed them, and set them into the crib. For those babies who are old enough to be swaddled, parents can try a sleep sack. If your baby still protests, parents can stand next to their cribs, put their hand on their tummy to soothe them, and just leave when they calmed down.

Know when is the right time

Another thing to know with baby sleeping challenges is to know when is the best and the right time to put your baby into the crib. Experts said that the right time is when your baby is awake but sleepy. They said that parents should check on their baby every 5 to 10 minutes. Also, it is important to keep in mind that their goal is to let their child sleep on their own. Doctors said that parents should also remember that a baby who sleeps is happier.

Stop with too much movement

To help with baby sleeping challenges, parents should put their baby in the stroller but they should not stroll it. Aside from that, parents can also put their baby into the swing but they should not swing it. When babies are used to less movement, they can start putting them in the crib when they are tired but are not too drained. However, experts suggest that parents should only try such steps only when they are ready.

They warned parents that if they quickly change the routine, they will just confuse the baby and prolong their baby sleeping challenges.

If the baby sleeping challenges make you shed tears, as a parent, check your baby after some time and say decide that you should start trying these steps. And if it still does not work, it will not hurt to consult your trusted doctor about what you can do to your baby, as well as what they can suggest you do.
