Bridge Women's Center 2nd Annual Gala to Raise Funds for Unplanned Pregnancies

Bridge Women's Center announced its Second Annual Gala fundraising event on May 13, 2021. It was rescheduled due to COVID-19. This year's event will be held at The Meadow Wood in Randolph, New Jersey. They have also invited former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee as their keynote speaker for this year's annual event. The American politician is also known as a Christian minister.

Bridge Women's Center Second Annual Gala for Mobile Pregnancy Unit

Executive Director Debbie Biskey revealed their aim for this year's fundraising event to raise resources for providing free services to pregnant women who are facing unplanned pregnancies. "This year's fundraiser is vital to help save lives. As the restrictions on COVID have eased, we will be able to continue this crucial mission."

The Bridge Women's Center's mobile pregnancy unit has already been on the road since May 2020. The mobile unit has since saved more than 90 babies, PR News Wire reported. Further, the endeavor has assisted families with insurance programs as well as support.

Pregnancy Center: A Church's Vision

Senior Pastor of the Calvary Old Bridge church, Pastor Lloyd Pulley, spoke about the mobile pregnancy center being the church's vision. "Our mission is to be a loving resource and rescue these women from decisions that they might regret for the rest of their lives, not to bury these women in shame and guilt."

Bridge Women's Mobile Pregnancy Center

The pregnancy center offers free services that include pregnancy testing, no-cost ultrasounds, and abortion pill reversal. They also provide counseling, abortion healing, and recovery. Other services aim to support the new mom, which includes childbirth preparation classes, continuous support during pregnancy and after birth, and parenting and budgeting programs. Such services have empowered many women and saved lives.

Moreover, Bridge Women's Center also planned a housing program that will commence next quarter. A second mobile pregnancy center will also soon be launched. Women who are already pregnant, who are contemplating abortion, who may be pregnant, or who have already commenced abortion can get support from the program. All services are at no cost. The center operates on donations from people who share the same mission and vision, PR Newswire reported.

The mobile pregnancy center was named Hannah and met women who face unplanned pregnancies wherever they may be. The center has traveled throughout New Jersey. They visit abortion clinics 2-3 days a week. They accept appointments and walk-ins. The mobile pregnancy unit also stations at 127 White Oak Lane in Old Bridge.

First Annual Gala Bridge Women's Center Keynote Speaker Abby Johnson

The previous fundraising gala was held on December 6, 2019, at the Calvary Chapel, where the vision started. They invited pro-life advocate and bestselling author of "Unplanned," Abby Johnson. The fundraising event helped raise funds for "Hannah," the 50th mobile medical unit built in collaboration with Save the Storks, Pr Newswire revealed.

Johnson spoke about the mobile pregnancy center's impact as an endeavor that is not in the business of life but of death. "Pregnancy centers such as Hannah provide the real help women in our society need today."
