Disney's Blizzard Beach Reopens! What To Know Before Taking Kids

Disney's Blizzard Beach is a ski resort-themed water park, and now they are pleased to welcome resort seekers as they are back and that they are better than ever. They opened with new health and safety hazards policies in place that are compatible with every visitor.

Those safety hazards include those in place in the resort, theme parks, hotels, restaurants, merchandise locations, and many more.

The resort, which opened back on March 7, is ready to accommodate families stuck in the snow and winter for the past few days. We know that this gets everyone excited, but as we also know, COVID-19 and the new variants are existent.

Safety hazards to know before going to Disney's Blizzard Beach

Know the basics

Learn the opening dates for each Disney resorts;

  • Disneyland Resort in California to open on April 30
  • Disney World's Park in Florida is primarily open
  • Blizzard Beach was open on March 7
  • Disneyland in Hongkong opened last February
  • Disneyland in Paris to open on April 2
  • Disneyland and DisneySea in Tokyo are open 

Get a safe place for you and your family to stay.

Look and buy for the resort map, and make sure to read the descriptions on the map before proceeding. Expect that the lounge chairs in the resort are arranged with social distancing to keep you safe. 

The resorts Polar Patio are very much available if you want to keep your social distance from others with a luxe experience twist. Avail of them for only $225. It offers privacy for ten maximum guests and offers other amenities you can't say no to.

Who can only go and visit the resort?

Disney parks are open to visitors who are inside travel restrictions. Visitors outside European Schengen are only in France's entry rules, so they need to wait for the Paris Disneyland to open. While the other locations only allow that returnee of the country like Tokyo. And if you are in China, make sure you are a citizen of the country and follow their strict guidelines and rules with safety hazards. 

Know the restrictions

Disney's Blizzard Beach allows a few visitors, and the beach's capacity is reduced from its regular commodities. Wear your mask all the time. Some other parks from foreign countries do require a face shield. Follow each park's policies, and you can enjoy the view inside. 

Where to eat

To keep their visitors safe, the resort has provided mobile orders. Mobile order is available in their three leading stores. Visitors can download the My Disney Experience app. 

And if you are not a fan of mobile orders, you can still bring your favorite snacks and food. The resort has provided chairs and tables where-in visitors can eat with their food.
