Trustpilot is a website where people can leave and read reviews for thousands of businesses in the public and private sectors. University of Phoenix signed up for an account with Trustpilot in June 2019 because its administrators were genuinely interested in receiving student feedback. In the 24 months since the University established the account, 2,936 students have left a rating using the one to five-star system, and hundreds have also included comments.

University of Phoenix reviews have an Excellent rating with an average of 4.3 out of a 5.0 system. As Trustpilot explains, the numeric rating goes beyond just the accumulated average of all reviews. The scoring algorithm also considers the age and number of reviews and whether the business actively requests people to write reviews. Each of these combined factors go into the overall Trust Factor.

University of Phoenix received high marks for responding to all reviewers, whether their comments were positive, neutral or negative. Trustpilot also recognized the University for responding to every reviewer within one week.

On May 29, 2021, Erica explained that she had been out of school for 14 years. Then, she decided to complete her Master of Business Administration degree online through University of Phoenix. Erica credited everyone from her enrollment specialists to her academic advisors and instructors for making it easy to return to school. Although she felt nervous about returning to a university, each of these professionals helped to calm her anxiety and prepare her for a smooth transition.

Erica repeated that her instructors were excellent when writing her University of Phoenix review. She stated they had plenty of availability and were always approachable when she needed additional guidance on a topic. Although her coursework was challenging, it was not so demanding that she could not keep up with her full-time job and part-time volunteer position. Erica was pleased that she decided to enroll at University of Phoenix and would recommend the University to any adult learner who desires flexibility and a highly competent teaching staff.

Ann Hardy left her five-star review on May 19, 2021. She stated that returning to her education as an adult learner was one of the best experiences of her life. Hardy felt that the University of Phoenix set her up for success while remaining available whenever she needed any assistance or further explanation.

Although Hardy has graduated, she still has the support of her team from the University, which means the world to her. Hardy ended her review by stating she did not think it was possible to achieve this level of success in her life.

Greg Davis posted a five-star review on May 19, 2021. He pointed out how much he felt the staff cared about him when they checked in with him during the pandemic. Davis had not experienced this level of personal connection from a university before and referred to it as a pleasant surprise. He especially credited the technology team for helping him with courses and eventually obtaining his degree. According to Davis, the staff at University of Phoenix went above and beyond to solve problems and explain things to him in a manner he could easily understand.

Complimenting staff is a common denominator in hundreds of University of Phoenix reviews. Instructors bring real-world experience to their teaching roles to provide students with an education that goes beyond the theoretical. With 77 percent of students who provided a Trust Pilot review giving the University a four-star or five-star rating, it speaks to the overall positive experience they had obtaining their online degree.
