Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have elevated their rekindled romance by allowing their children to bond with each other. However, the daughters of the "Batman" star have yet to be seen in public with their father's new girlfriend.

According to E! News, Affleck and Lopez spent the Fourth of July holiday with the singer's 13-year-old twins, Max and Emme, at her house in the Hamptons, and the foursome had so much fun at the beach. The couple was also seen strolling with friends and wore matching outfits.

The report cited that JLo was first to arrive in the resort hotspot in New York on July 2 with her children. This was after Affleck and Lopez spent the previous weekend having a fun-filled time at the Universal Studios with 9-year-old Samuel, Affleck's son with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Max and Emme were also on that trip.

However, SheKnows reported that Affleck's daughters with Garner have not yet been seen with Lopez or her twins despite the amusement park trip with Samuel. Violet, 15, and Seraphina, 12, are very close and loyal to their mother. Apparently, the girls might need more time to process that their father is in a new relationship with the woman with whom Affleck had a high-profile romance before he met and married Garner in 2005.

Since Affleck and Lopez rekindled their old love, they frequently traveled together or with her twins. The couple has been to Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Montana, where Lopez is based.

Sources told Us Weekly that this relationship started as a whirlwind romance after Lopez broke off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez and Affleck ended his one-year relationship with Ana de Armas. However, the pair are now "fully committed" to taking the next steps "to spend the rest of their lives together."

The source also said that Lopez is looking forward to getting to know Affleck's daughters as their relationship grows deeper. However, the Grammy-winning singer is not in a rush and understands that Violet and Seraphina should be comfortable meeting her.

Ben and JLo's Relationship Timeline

Affleck and Lopez met on the set of "Gigli" in 2001, but she was still married to Cris Judd, her second husband. When they divorced, Affleck and Lopez went public with their relationship, and the tabloids dubbed their coupling as "Bennifer."

In 2002, Affleck and Lopez were engaged and did another movie together. In 2003, the couple announced that they would postpone their wedding "due to the excessive media attention" they've received. In January 2004, the pair called it quits, and she moved on to marry Latino singer Marc Anthony six months later. He is the father of JLo's twins, but they divorced in 2014.

On the other hand, Affleck married Garner, whom he met while filming "Daredevil" when he was still engaged to Lopez. After three kids, the pair divorced in 2018.

In early 2021, Affleck started hanging out again with his former girlfriend, but sources denied any romance going on until the pair were seen on a trip to Montana, Lopez's home. Sources then said that Affleck and Lopez are happy together, and since they've kept in touch all these years, it was easier for them to pick up where they left off.
