What Megan Fox Teaches Son, Who Likes Dresses, About Handling Bullies

Megan Fox teaches her eldest son, Noah, to handle the bullies who criticize his fondness for wearing dresses. The 35-year-old celebrity mom revealed that her eight-year-old boy had been picked on in school and online, but she and her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, are co-parenting and raising Noah to deal with the bullies in the best way.

In an interview with InStyle, the mother of three expressed hope that Noah doesn't get to read the stories or comments that people write about him online. The Transformers star said that there are some really "awful and cruel" people on the internet, but she could not shield her boy all the time.

Fox said that the children in Noah's school tell him what they've read and, in the process, tease him about his fashion choices. So, the mother said that she and Green are instilling confidence in their son to deal with the negativity.

Why Noah Likes Dresses

During a guest appearance in The Talk in 2019, Fox said that Noah is so into fashion and prefers to wear whatever he likes in school. While the mother said the school's culture is quite liberal and hippy, there are still kids who have been raised with the mindset that boys cannot wear dresses.

The actress relayed, as parents, they keep reminding Noah not to be bothered "no matter what anyone else says." She believes that her son gets the idea because he came home from school one day and told his mother that when some of his classmates laughed when they saw him wearing a dress, he didn't care because he likes what he was wearing so much.

Fox also proudly shared that Noah likes to design outfits, and he's quite talented at it. The actress and her ex-husband have always been vocal against the people who don't think they should indulge their son's preference. Noah has been dressing differently since he was a toddler.

Society's Double Standards

Meanwhile, the Till Death actress also opened up about another issue that society's double standards have thrown at her. She said that some people expect her to be with her three children all the time and criticize her for going out on dates with her boyfriend, Machine Gun Kelly. However, the public doesn't expect the same from her children's father.

Fox said that when she's out for work or leisure, her children are definitely with Green because he is their other parent. She cannot always bring her kids along, especially when she's on a movie set.

People also have opinions about Fox dating a guy who is four years younger than her. However, Fox said that her boyfriend is 31 years old and not a minor.

"No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger," the actress shot back at her critics.

Fox started dating Kelly in March 2020 after separating from Green in 2019, whom she married in 2010. She filed for divorce in November 2020.
