Angelina Jolie Treats Pax to a Mother-Son Dinner Date in Los Angeles

Angeline Jolie has spent lots of solo quality time with each of her children now that they are growing up and spreading their wings. The "Maleficent" star was recently seen on a dinner date with her second child, Pax, 17, in a fancy Malibu restaurant.

The superstar mom and her son, who could soon leave home just like his older brother, Maddox, had a sushi dinner in Nobu and may have been discussing Pax's plans after high school. The 17-year-old has recently graduated from a private high school in Los Angeles, but it's still unclear if Pax has plans to join Maddox, who is taking up college courses at the Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.

According to The Sun, Pax, who is media-shy, skipped his graduation ceremony last June because he didn't want the event to become a "circus." Sources said, however, that his name, Pax Jolie-Pitt, was on the graduates' pamphlet.

It comes as Jolie lost her bid for sole custody of her five minor children -- Pax, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, twins Knox and Viviene, 13 -- after the judge awarded her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, joint custody in May 2021. According to reports, their eldest, Maddox, who is in his 20s, has decided to drop his father's family name and went by Jolie.

Angelina and Shiloh Together in Italy

Pax's solo time with their superstar mom also comes just a few weeks after Jolie was seen with her first biological child, Shiloh, during a trip to Italy. While the rest of the brood were also on the trip, Jolie and Shiloh spent an extra day together in Venice, where the actress had an evening art event.

According to Life & Style, Jolie and Shiloh took a stroll and rode the water taxi that brought them all over interesting sites in Venice. A day later, they returned to Los Angeles, where Jolie was then seen joining Zahara for their mother-daughter date at the Hollywood Bowl, where they watched a Ziggy Marley concert.

Meanwhile, in an interview with British Vogue, the 46-year-old mom said that the custody battle with Pitt has not been easy as the process took several months with many testimonies from witnesses, therapists, and experts who have been around the children. However, the actress said that she has been managing through the legal battle because of her kids.

"I feel like we're such a team," Jolie said. "You love and you try, and even if you burn the eggs, that doesn't matter in the end."

Angelina Stressed Out?

Meanwhile, according to Star Magazine, Jolie's children have been "pushing her to eat" because she's losing weight due to stress over her custody battle with Pitt. Insiders said that the actress hopes to gain 10 pounds by the end of the summer based on her children's request.

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report saying that the "Maleficent" star has always had a slim figure and does not appear to have had a significant weight loss in the last few months. She also looked fine and enjoyed her trip to Italy with her children.
