'Fast and Furious 8' Cast: Paul Walker's Daughter Sues Porsche Over Faulty Car

Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow, sues car company Porsche for a faulty car that resulted in her father's death.

Walker, known for his role in the "Fast and Furious" series, died in a car crash accident that occurred on Nov. 30, 2013. Nearly two years later, 16-year-old daughter Meadow sues Porsche, the maker of the car that her dad was on when he died.

According to the wrongful death lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Meadow's lawyers state that Paul was still alive when the Porsche Carrera GT crashed and broke apart. Paul's seat belt apparently "snapped Walker's torso back with thousands of pounds of force, thereby breaking his ribs and pelvis," which left him trapped in the passenger seat.

The lawsuit claims that fires didn't erupt for 1 minute and 20 seconds after the car crash. Paul was claimed to be alive when the fire broke out, but was unfortunately trapped helplessly inside the car. The suit alleges, "Paul Walker breathed soot into his trachea while the Porsche Carrera GT burned."

According to law enforcement authorities, Roger Rodas, Paul's friend who was driving when the accident happened, was driving at 80 to 93 mph, which makes speeding the cause of the crash.

However, the lawsuit says that Rodas was only cruising at a speed of between 63 to 71 mph when the car careened out of control. If the car was equipped with a proper stabilization system, the lawsuit alleges, it wouldn't have gone out of control.

Meadow's lawyers claim that car company Porsche knew that the Carrera GT had "a history of instability and control issues."

According to her lawyers, the faulty car could have been corrected had the car company installed a Porsche Stability Management System (PSM), which will prevent the car from swerving. Even though it was a standard in other car models, the lawyers claim that Porsche did not install it in the Carrera GT.

The lawsuit also raised other issues, such as deficient side door reinforcements and inadequately protected fuel lines that caused the car to erupt in flames.

Meadow's lawyer, Jeff Milam, said "the bottom line is that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn't belong on the street. And we shouldn't be without Paul Walker or his friend, Roger Rodas."

Hollywood Life reports that Meadow, missing her dad, posted a photo of her being carried by Paul on his shoulders. The photo, posted on Paul's birthday, had a message that expressed Meadow's feelings of missing her dad.

"Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill," wrote Meadow.
