Popular model Cara Delevingne doesn't open up about her romantic life to the press, but she admits she's "manifesting" a baby, despite having no plans of getting pregnant just yet, and has started buying baby clothes for her future kids.

In an exclusive with Harper's Bazaar, the model and actress revealed that she is mentally preparing to have her first child and was recently gushing over a pair of tiny purple Air Jordan she bought during a recent shopping spree. She claimed that she has a weakness for baby shoes.

Embracing the law of attraction to get what she wants, Delevingne said she also buys children's clothes for still-non-existent babies. However, she didn't say when she intends to have kids and with whom.

Who is Cara Delevingne Dating?

Delevingne, 29, is quite private about her personal life and shares snippets of photos of her partners on her social media accounts. However, she told Variety that she identifies as pansexual, or a person attracted to all genders emotionally and physically. She said she sees past boys or girls and falls in love with the person based on who they are.

The "Carnival Row" star was in a long and exclusive relationship with actress Ashley Benson from 2018 to 2020, and they were rumored to be engaged. Before Benson, Delevingne was also romantically linked to musicians Jake Bugg and St. Vincent (Anne Clark). In January 2022, Delevingne was seen kissing actress Sienna Miller at the Temple Bar in New York, but they have not confirmed if they are dating.

Delevingne admitted that she second-guessed coming out as pansexual because of her old-fashioned aristocratic family. She said she had no idea if anyone from her older relatives had gender issues growing up, given their pedigree and social standing.

A Chaotic Childhood

Delevingne is the great-granddaughter of British socialite Angela Delevingne whose grandfather was the 1st Viscount Greenwood. Her maternal grandparents also belonged to London's elite but her mother, Pandora Delevingne, struggled with bipolar disorder and heroin addiction.

She told Harper's Bazaar that she had a stressful childhood because of her mother's issues. While she didn't elaborate on specific instances, Delevingne said that this chaos also drove her to drop out of school and pursue a different path to success. It was also during this time that she grappled with her sexual identity.

During a podcast interview on Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop, Delevingne said that she used to be homophobic and found same-sex relationships disgusting. But the more she denied her feelings, the more she was unhappy and developed depression and thoughts of suicide. The model said that she realized she was "much more comfortable" in her fluidity, and that's when she knew that she was pansexual.

Delevingne is in the process of completing a BBC documentary about gender and sexuality. She acknowledged her older sisters, Chloe and Poppy, as the epitomes of the kind of woman she wants to become in her journey of discovering herself.
