'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Season 11: Family's Influence Decreasing? Numbers Show Lowest Premiere Ratings

Are people tired with the controversial reality stars in "Keeping Up With the Kardashians?" New report claims that the rating of the premiere episode for "KUWTK" Season 11 flops. Were the Kardashians losing their charm?

Nielsen ratings data revealed that only 1.29 million viewers tuned in to watch the premiere episode of "KUWTK" season 11, which was aired on Sept. 20, Radar Online has learned. The report suggests that it's a bad news for the Kardashians because the crucial 18-49 demographic only accounted 600,000 individuals.

The previous seasons showcased a higher rating for 18-49 demo.  According to the report, Season 10, which premiered on March 15, 2015 garnered 2.5 million views, 1.2 million of which were in the 18-49 demo.

On the other hand, Season 9, which premiered on Aug. 21, 2014, had 2.8 million overall viewers, of which 1.5 million belonged in the critical 18-49 demo.

The trend shows that "KUWTK" are slowly losing their audience. Among the shows that allegedly beat the once very popular program are AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead," VH1's "Basketball Wives LA 4," and FX's "The Strain."

In a separate report from Radar Online, KUWTK has been on a downward spiral and "no amount of drama, weddings, divorces or separations is going to bring back the numbers the show once had." The report claims that the show loses half a million viewers in just a week on season 9.

Season 9's Feb. 16 episode titled "Surprise Engagement - Part 2" gained the highest ratings of the said season with an average of 2.57 million viewers. However, on its next episode the audience tuned out and the rating dropped a staggering half million viewers to 2.07 million.

Will the Kardashians be able to get up after their diminishing rating? What does the family in store for their audience on "KUWTK" Season 11? Among the biggest happening in the family is Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's split.

According to OK! Magazine, Mason Disick will be skipping school to film "KUWTK" season 11. The five-year-old toddler was supposedly on his first year of kindergarten this year, but he was not enrolled so he can film for season 11. The decision was made because Mason was a key player in the breakup drama of his parents, Kourtney and Scott.

A source revealed that for this season the ex-couple's storyline will concentrate on their split and they need Mason to complete it. Meanwhile, "KUWTK" Season 11 will not only be about dramas, it will  also feature Kim's daughter North's Jerusalem baptism and Kanye West's performance in the old city, according to Jobs&Hire.

"Keeping Up With the Kardashian" season 11 airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. on E!
