Pregnant Katherine Schwarzenegger Shares Photo of Daughter Lyla 'Nesting' Ahead of Baby No. 2

Pregnant Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt's 19-month-old child, Lyla, is getting ready to become a big sister to her future baby sibling. The 32-year-old Los Angeles native shared on Tuesday, March 15, a photo of her daughter's dolls at social media platform Instagram with the caption "The latest toddler treats I find around the house... all her babies and stuffies are wearing diapers and bandaids. Mama's girl is nesting."

The Rock What You've Got author went on to share a fun fact in her caption, telling her followers that the doll on the left of the picture was bought when she was born and is still doing well 32 years later. She concluded her message with the word #vintage.

US Weekly reported that Pratt joined in the fun with the Hollywood superstar making a comment to his wife's Instagram post. The 42-year-old actor said "If you find a turd in one of those diapers call Ghost Hunters immediately."

Pratt and Schwarzenegger's family keeps on growing

Schwarzenegger and Pratt welcomed their baby girl Lyla back in August 2020. She joined Jack, the Parks and Recreation alum's 9-year-old son with former wife Anna Faris. The couple made the announcement of their daughter's arrival via Instagram at the time, saying "We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt."

Pratt and Schwarzenegger added that they couldn't be happier with the birth and that they are extremely blessed with both mom and baby doing great. News then emerged in December of last year that the Gift of Forgiveness author is pregnant with her second baby, although the expectant mother has yet to reveal her baby bump. The quick addition to their brood is not a complete surprise, though, with Pratt being vocal over the years about the couple's plans to have a big family.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star alluded to that fact during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in January 2019. When asked about the future, Pratt responded with "lots of kids." Pratt said that he envisions himself spending less time working and allotting more time to enjoying life.

Pratt pays tribute to Schwarzenegger on her 32nd birthday

Pratt said that he always wanted to be the guy who works to live, and not one who lives to work. Pratt said he wants to spend a lot of time at his farm, seeing lots of sunsets and catching a lot of fish.

The news of Pratt and Schwarzenegger's newest baby came shortly after he wished the Maverick and Me author a happy 32nd birthday on Instagram. the The Jurassic World star praised Schwarzenegger for being not only a wonderful wife and mother but also a step-mother and life partner.

People Magazine reported that Pratt told his wife on Instagram that he simply can't imagine how lost he'd be without her. Pratt wrote "You're beautiful, tough as nails, reasonable, deeply thoughtful, extraordinarily smart, you're a complete boss, eternally driven and you communicate like no other."

Pratt surely will say the same thing about her daughter Lyla, who based on her 'nesting' photo appears more than ready to take the role of big sister.
