Leona Lewis of X Factor is Pregnant: Singer Expecting 1st Baby With Husband Dennis Jauch

Leona Lewis is going to be a mom! The singer revealed on Wednesday, March 23, that she is pregnant with her first child with husband Dennis Jauch. The 36-year-old X Factor alum shared the news on social media platform Instagram, posting a photo of herself wearing a black dress that hugged tightly her growing baby bump.

Lewis captioned the said picture with a message to her baby, writing "Can't wait to meet you in the Summer." According to Us Weekly, Jauch shared the same maternity shoot photo on his own Instagram account, writing, "Biggest gift I could've asked for coming this Summer. You're one hot a** Mama @leonalewis."

They started dating in 2010 when Jauch was performing as a backup singer on Lewis' tour. The couple got engaged eight years later with Jauch popping the question after their eighth anniversary. They tied the knot in beautiful Italy a year later in July 2019. Lewis and her choreographer husband got married at Sting's Tuscan vineyard which is located just south of Florence.

The "Bleeding Love" singer said at the time that their wedding was full of love and that it was the most beautiful day of her life. Lewis said the wedding was so special as they were able to bring together everyone that they love.

According to OK! magazine, the England native admitted that there were a lot of tears in the nuptials. Lewis shared pictures of the wedding on her Instagram account, writing "I will cherish this day for a lifetime. Nine years ago this amazing man walked into my life and last weekend we said 'I do' surrounded by the people we love."

Lewis added that every moment with Jauch was a gift of love, from their family style dinner in the vineyards of Tuscany to their ceremony in the small chapel that sheltered them from the storm outside and the all night singing and dance party that happened after the ceremony. Lewis concluded her message by saying "I'm so thankful for the most special day of my life."

Jauch returned the favor and praised his stunning wife on their second wedding anniversary in July of last year, calling their marriage a walk in the park and thanking her for being his ride or die through it all. Jauch ended his message by saying it is only the beginning of their beautiful journey together.

That journey will now include a baby soon. People magazine reported that several of the singer's famous friends congratulated her in the comments section of her post. Julianne Hough wrote "Congrats" while fellow singer Jordin Sparks greeted her with "OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!" Vanessa Williams also was delighted with the news, replying with a "Yay!!!!"

Lewis and Jauch have been getting some practice for their future baby duties with the couple being a doting uncle and aunt to their niece.
