The newest addition to Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt's family has finally arrived. The couple announced on Sunday that they welcomed their second baby together on Saturday, with the pair revealing the news on their respective Instagram accounts, according to the Daily Mail.

They posted the happy news on the social media platform, writing, "We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. We feel beyond blessed and grateful." They posted a picture of the baby's name and her birthday, May 21.

Chris and Katherine are also proud parents to 21-month-old daughter Lyla Maria, while Pratt is a father to nine-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris. He was married to the Hollywood actress from 2009 until their divorce in 2018.

Lyla is now a big sister to baby Eloise Christina

Sources confirmed to People magazine back in December that Pratt and Schwarzenegger Pratt, who married each other in June 2019, had another child on the way. They welcomed their first baby, daughter Lyla, in August 2020.

Pratt paid tribute to his wife on her birthday in a lengthy Instagram post back in December. The "Jurassic World" star wrote: "Happy birthday, honey! You are such a wonderful wife, mother, step-mother, and life partner. I simply can't imagine how lost I'd be without you."

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star showered Katherine with praises in the post, writing that she is beautiful, tough as nails, reasonable, deeply thoughtful, extraordinarily smart, a complete boss, eternally driven, and a person who communicates like no other.

Chris thanked Katherine for everything and for being instrumental in his growth over the past few years. Pratt added that they fit so perfectly into each other's lives that their union is a daily reminder that God is looking out for them. Pratt concluded his post by writing, "Navigating the odd circumstances of our world is a task I cannot handle alone."

Pratt's "healthy daughter" comment irks fans

Pratt grabbed the headlines for the wrong reasons back in November, facing intense backlash from netizens after he thanked Katherine for giving him a healthy daughter. That comment irked some of his followers as they took it as an attack on his son with Faris.

Pratt's eldest child was born two months prematurely and weighed just three pounds and 12 ounces at birth. Jack spent the first month in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Doctors feared Jack would have severe health issues in his life because of the premature birth, but fortunately, he only needs to wear glasses and has slight leg muscle problems now.

Some angry fans did not like Pratt's comments, slamming the Hollywood actor for his seemingly insensitive remarks towards Anna and their son. Pratt said in a Mirror report that Jack's time in the NICU redefined his faith in God.
