Kim Kardashian Apologizes to Family For How Ex-Husband Kanye West Treated Them For Years

In an emotional scene from the latest episode of the reality TV series, "The Kardashians," Kim Kardashian extended her apologies to her family during a sit-down dinner for how her ex-husband, Kanye West, had treated them over the years, Mirror reported.

The make-up magnate said she did not stand up for her sibling for years when her ex-husband acted up towards them.

Kanye badmouths the Kardashians

She recently discovered that the rapper is releasing a new song in which he would be badmouthing the Kardashians. She and her mom, Kris, 66, received the same text message from a friend revealing the rapper's intentions. 

The KKW Beauty and Skims founder assured her family that Kanye's action would not affect them in any way. She noted that she recognized the impact of her relationship with Kanye on her family, but she never had the chance to say, "I'm sorry, guys."

Kim and Kanye married in 2014 in Italy and got divorced in March 2022. Currently, she is dating actor and comedian Pete Davidson, as per Yahoo!Life.

Mom's reassurance

Khloe, one of the Kardashian sisters, pointed out that most men do not trash the mother of their kids like that in public. The Kardashian matriarch assured Kim that she had been nothing but supportive to her ex-husband throughout the dark periods of his life. She also condemned Kanye's recent move because the ex-couple has kids who would listen to his music in the future and would fully understand the lyrics.

Kris shared that one day, their kids will read and see all of it, adding that when people say disparaging things about any of them, it will hurt them all.

Kim vowed that she would not stoop down to her ex-husband's level. She said she protected him for so long and would never let it happen to her family again.

Not the first diss out song 

This is not the first time the "Blood on the Leaves" rapper dissed his ex in his rap songs. Earlier this year, the rapper attacked Davidson, his estranged wife's new boyfriend, in a new track, "Eazy," a collaboration with The Game, and addressed his strained relationship with his ex-wife. A line of the song said that he survived the 2002 car crash to "beat Pete Davidson's ass." He also called his children "boujee and unruly rich-ass," and attacked the Kardashian family's parenting.

As per ET, Kanye hates that his ex-wife and Davidson are dating and despises the idea that Kim is with someone else. Kanye is currently dating Julia Fox, an Italian-American actress and model.
