The U.S. Consumer Safety and Product Commission (CSPC) has issued three toy recalls from June 3 to June 9, 2022, that may put children at risk. While there have been no reported injuries or deaths, the companies that distribute these toys want to operate on the side of caution and voluntarily comply with their responsibilities to the consumers.

These items are sold at various stores across the U.S. and Canada, as well as on many e-commerce sites. The toy recalls may be replaced, refunded, or repaired, depending on the distributor's offer.

Lead Poisoning: 350 Units Jungle Jumparoo Toys

Jungle Jumparoo is a popular outdoor equipment for kids. However, the CSPC said that a small batch of these toys, sold from November 2018 through March 2019 at stores like Amazon, JungleJump, or Bed Bath and Beyond, has been found to have lead content. If ingested, lead can be very toxic for children.

The lead content is present in the yellow pole alone, and the company, based in Utah, is willing to replace the said pole. Jungle Jumparoo advises parents to remove the contaminated pole from their equipment. They need to fill up the Jungle Jumparoo's Recall Contact Form to facilitate the replacement.

Choking Risk: 3,100 Units Activity Loops Toys

Activity Loops are made in China and distributed by the Manhattan Toy Company in Minneapolis. They are sold at independent or specialty stores across the U.S. and Canada, as well as on the toy shop's e-commerce site for $25.

The toys come with tube loops in different colors and moving rings with soccer balls. The toys also come with a suction cup that easily attaches to surfaces. However, the tubes may detach, and the moving rings may come off while the kids play with them.

Parents who have bought Activity Loops toys are advised to take these out from their children's things and return the item for a full refund after three reports of a potential choking hazard in kids.

Some 2,700 pieces were bought in America and 472 in Canada between June 2021 through March 2022. The toy company said parents could return the item where it was purchased or phone 1-800-541-1345 to make the arrangements via its Product Recall Page.

Strangulation Hazard: 13,300 Units Asweets Wood Baby Activity Push Walkers

Asweets Wonder & Wise baby activity walkers, distributed by Asweets Global Inc. in California, have a panel with interactive buttons and toys for babies. It is designed with puzzles, beads, wooden toys, and a storage compartment. The walker also has five wooden balls on the front wheels.

The CSPC, however, received at least ten reports of the rear wheels detaching from the product that may cause strangulation. This has prompted Asweets to agree to the product recall and offer a replacement kit for free.
