At the premiere of his new movie "Bullet Train," Brad Pitt can't stop gushing that he feels proud that his 17-year-old daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt is headed to Spelman College this fall. Pitt thinks his daughter will "flourish even more" at the historically Black institution.

His ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, and Zahara recently celebrated her acceptance at an alum event. In an interview with Vanity Fair, he said his eldest daughter is so smart, and it is an exciting and beautiful time for her to find her way and pursue her interest.

The Bullet Train actor opened up about his children going through major life transitions like leaving home and going to college. He wondered where the time went and noted that his kids are growing up too fast; it brings tears to his eyes, per Vanity Fair.

Jolie announced her daughter's admission to Spelman College on Sunday. Aside from Zahara, Pitt shares with Jolie Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Shiloh, 16, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 14.

According to Page Six, Maddox, the eldest, is enrolled at Yonsei University in South Korea in August 2019, three years after Pitt and Jolie called it quits. The court declared Pitt and Jolie legally single, but they still have an ongoing divorce battle, mostly on child custody.

Relationship with ex-wife and children

The couple married in 2014 and shocked the world when they announced filing for divorce.

Pitt recently filed a lawsuit against Jolie after she sold her share of their French winery to a Russian company. The actor alleged they had a prior agreement that neither would do so unless the other person approved. Pitt is asking for damages and for the sale to be reversed.

In October 2021, the court allowed the actress to sell her shares to a third party despite the couple still finalizing their divorce.

Except for Maddox, who is currently completing his college degree in South Korea, and Zahara, who is headed for Spelman College soon, the Jolie-Pitt children live in a lavish Hollywood mansion. Meanwhile, Pitt is "living his best life" in Los Angeles.

A source said that he hangs out with a large group of artsy friends in Los Angeles, and the Oscar-winning actor is also dating but is not in a serious relationship.

As per Glamour, the actor makes it a point to spend time with the children. A source said that Brad has dinner with his younger kids when they are in LA. As the children are older now and have life and friends of their own, the dad still has a good relationship with them, a source said.
