Dad and daughter hit the thrift stores to find the perfect outfits to wear for Harry Styles' "Love on Tour" concert. Nari Rampersad surprised his daughter, Sarita, with tickets to not just one but two nights of pop icon and heartthrob Harry Style's sold-out concert at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto for her birthday. Immediately after knowing that she was finally going to a concert of her ultimate idol since she was seven years old, she put her concert outfit vision board on Pinterest, which she has collated since 2018, Today reported.

The 16-year-old Canadian girl presented to her father her planned outfits for both of them using Google documents and spreadsheets enumerating what they needed to do to find and accomplish the right look. For the first night, the plan was a coordinating blue and pink outfit to honor the album of Styles entitled "Fine Line," which was the exact album she finally got her dad to start listening to the pop icon.

'I found everything in the women's section,' Dad exclaims

Nari knew his daughter so well not to argue, so he went with her to some thrift store hopping, shopping for all the things on her list.

Concert goers of Harry Styles are known for their sartorial splendor outfits, which usually include brightly colored feather boas. Cowboy hats, heart-shaped sunglasses, platform shoes, pants with glistening rhinestones of the singer's initials, and fruit prints to give honor to the songs "Kiwi," "Cherry," and "Watermelon Sugar."

Amazingly, the Rampersads aced the sartorial splendor look, to which Nari was so proud, proclaiming that they were able to find everything they needed in the women's section, and he was the one who found their pants.

Nari gleefully shared that it shocked him how his pants from the women's section fit him so well, better than men's clothing. One problem, he expressed, was the lack of pockets. Thus, they had to improvise and buy tote bags to carry his wallet and phone.

Dad and daughter's final fabulous outfit consisted of flare pants - in pink and blue for the first night and red and royal blue for the second night, white undershirts (sequined for Dad on the second night), cowboy hats, loud colored feather boas and the non-negotiable, matching white Doc Martens high boots, which Nari had to borrow from his niece.

Every detail was perfect. None was overlooked. Nari's fingernails were painted in colors for the special occasion.

'In parenting, the experiences (together) count'

Styles is known to "call out dads" who take their children to his concerts wearing golf shirts tucked in khaki pants. Nari was not called out but got many reactions from fans awed by and giving a thumbs up for his outfits. On the second night, their outfits even caught the attention of professional photographers.

Sarita took to her Tiktok account and posted videos of their outfit transformation, which now have over a million views.

"Seeing her happy is just pretty much all I want," Nari said. "I knew Harry would put on a good show, but I was living through her. Her excitement pushed mine to a different level."

A father to also 22 and 18-year-old daughters, Nari concluded that in parenting, the experiences shared together count and matter the most.
