Will Smith World Tour: 2016 Tour With DJ Jazzy Jeff In The Works -- Get All The Details Here!

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Will Smith plans to go on a summer world tour with DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Smith shocked fans when he made a comeback in the music scene after 10 years with a remix of Bomba Estéreo’s "Fiesta." According to US Weekly, Smith said he was gone that long because he was preoccupied.

"I've been away doing some other stuff. Making kids and stuff. You know, it takes a little bit of your attention away," he said to Zane Lowe in Lowe's Beats 1 radio show. "I'm at the beginning of this process. Shaking the rust off, knocking the dust off."

And now that he's back, he even announced that he is "pretty certain" that he'll have his first world tour in the summer of 2016, and plans to have DJ Jazzy Jeff join him if it does happen.

"Jeff and I actually have never done a full tour," he said. "I’m looking this summer to be the first time we go out on a full world tour."

The magazine adds that fans may remember that 47-year-old Smith and 50-year-old DJ Jeff have been working together on and off the stage, for a long time now. They worked on hits such as "Summertime" and "Parents just don't understand," and the DJ guest starred in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

According to Entertainment Online, Smith has more than just the tour in store. While he's currently working on his new thriller "Suicide Squad," Smith also reveals that he has more than 30 newly-recorded songs in store for all his fans.

"I have six or seven that I really, really like, that I'm trying to get the ideas to come out right," he said referring to the songs.

Philly reports that Smith, however, seems to have some trouble with the feel of the songs, as they are different compared to when "Summertime" was the best.

“I have so many things I want to say, and I’m struggling to say them in a way that fits the flavor of the music I tend to like,” he said. “I’m from an era where it’s 16 bars and hook, 16 bars and hook, bridge, hook, and out.”

E! adds that Smith admitted that he's "terrified" at the fact that he's going back to the music scene, although he's been there before.

"When you've had a certain amount of success, it seems like it should breed confidence. But it actually doesn't…" he explained. "When you win a lot, and then you lose the ability to lose. You're not allowed to lose anymore.".
