English Journalist, Stacey Dooley, gave followers and fans a glimpse of her growing baby bump in a new snap. The star recently revealed that she was pregnant with her first child with her dancer boyfriend, Kevin Clifton, The Sun reported.

The two met on the 16th series of "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2018 when they were paired up with each other. They instantly had a connection and went on to win the show and take home the Glitterball trophy. Even then, nothing happened between the two. Dooley was in a relationship while Clifton was getting a divorce with his ex-wife Karen Hauer.

In the photo, the 35-year-old posed in a silver pleated maxi skirt and a cropped baby pink sweater accentuating her growing baby bump. One follower commented, "OMG, the BELLY is stepping out," with kissing emoticons. The soon-to-be-mom shared the photo as her response to flower company "My Lady Garden," who had sent her a bouquet and captioned it: "You sweetheart! @myladygarden Thank you! So kind. (Also, coincidentally matchin' the bouquet to the outfit..... you've truly outdone yourselffffff!)."

Sweet and congratulatory comments flooded the comment section.

On August 26, the star announced her pregnancy by sharing a touching polaroid photo of her baby bump with a heartfelt message: "Gaaaaaaang... we are having a baby, so [very] delighted. Kev, you're magic, I love youuuu."

The "Strictly Come Dancing" stars' relationship

The English professional dancer also shared the photo on his Instagram account and wrote: "We're having a baby! And I think my girl @sjdooley looks beautiful pregnant."

The couple has managed to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, although Dooley did recently share she was not fussed about marrying her partner. The journalist also spoke about their relationship in her documentary "Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over" and said she was more interested in building a family.

The two also denied rumors about their engagement earlier this year, after she was spotted wearing her new ring while on holiday. The presenter said she was not getting married, and if she would, the public would immediately know.

On the other hand, Clifton left his role as a pro-dancer on Strictly way back in 2020, saying he wanted to move on to other things, per Digital Spy. He said he wanted to leave on a high and wanted to focus on aother areas of his life, aside from his career.

The professional dancer's relationship timeline

The two had been very private, especially with their current romantic status, and went public with their relationship in 2019. The TV presenter gave the public a rare insight into their relationship and called it something awesome. Coupled with an amazing career, Dooley calls herself the lucky one.

The COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown prompted the couple to move in together. And in 2021, the journalist realized she wanted a family, per Metro.
