'Twilight' Star Ashley Green Gave Birth to Her and Paul Khoury's First Child, a Baby Girl, on Friday

US Weekly confirmed Ashley Greene and Paul Khoury had expanded their family after the "Twilight" alum gave birth to their first child, a baby girl, on Friday, September 16. The actress shared a photo on Instagram, on Monday, September 19, of her newborn's tiny hand and revealed they named her Kingsley Rainn Khoury.

"The Immaculate Room" actress wrote on Instagram that the moment Kingsley arrived, everything else faded away, and suddenly, nothing else mattered. The love of two cannot be described in words and only be felt in the deepest of ways. "We love you so much, baby girl. Welcome to our world."

News outlets confirmed that the 35-year-old actress was pregnant in March with her first child, almost four years after the couple tied the knot in July 2018. The Australian and Lebanese television personality, Paul Khoury, proposed to Greene while on vacation in New Zealand in December 2016 after dating for three years. The two decided to have a prolonged engagement.

"The Apparation" actress said that when they thought of expanding their family, they immediately agreed they were ready for the possibility of having kids and the responsibilities that come with it. The couple trusts each other and believes it's going to happen. The actress revealed they came to a point where both of their parents were hinting they were ready as they have been married a couple of years already.

Reminiscing the wedding

The wedding ceremony was beautiful. They devised a unique way to decide who would read their vows first-by playing rock-paper-scissors. The actress lost and so she went first.

Although it appears as a moment of fun, the vows were heartfelt, having written them themselves. The ceremony became emotional as they each read their vows. The couple celebrated their nuptials in Hawaii, per People.

The "LOL" actress revealed how her husband is patient with her and likes her husband to plan almost everything out so everything is in place. And when things seem to be falling apart, he reminds her that it is okay when things sometimes appear messy.

Before giving birth, the "Summer's Blood" actress showed off her huge baby bump while out and about with her husband in Los Angeles. The "Burying the Ex" actress wore an ankle-length white dress covered in flowery designs.

The beautiful mother glowed while walking with Khoury. Her long brown locks, parted in the middle, falling in thick waves to just above her chest, per Daily Mail.
