The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and the supermodel break their silence and announce that their divorce is officially finalized.

After all the speculations, it is finally confirmed that Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are officially divorced, People reported.

The two are now legally single after 13 years of marriage.

Based on a 3-page legal document obtained by People, it was found that the petition for the dissolution of marriage was filed and finalized yesterday, October 28, in Glades County, Florida. The paperwork officially declared that the marriage of the two is now dissolved and "irretrievably broken."

Joint custody of kids

Bündchen and Brady reached a marital settlement agreement last October 25, including a "parenting plan." However, details of the settlement agreement and custody will not be publicly filed with the court for confidentiality purposes, per the state of law.

Both have expressed in separate statements that they will be co-parenting their kids Benjamin, 12, Vivian, 9, and Jack, 15, who Brady shares with Bridget Moynahan. The quarterback said their children will "continue to be the center of our world in every way."

He further stated that though the season is both painful and difficult, they will continue to work together as parents to ensure that their children will be given the love and attention they deserve, all while wishing each other the best as they pursue whatever the new chapters of their lives give them.

Moreover, a source said that the two plan to keep things "drama free" for the children as much as possible.

"My priority has always been and will continue to be our children, whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they greatly deserve," wrote Bündchen Friday in her Instagram story, as quoted by Clutch Points.

Ready to move on

The supermodel also wrote that the reason for ending the marriage was that they had "grown apart." Yet, she emphasized that she will always feel blessed for the time they built a life and a family together.

It was revealed that even before the couple reached the end of the rope, they already had a "game plan" in place and process.

A source close to the former couple said they knew it was coming, and it was time to move on.

It has been quite a long time since the two have been ready to "move ahead." They did not hesitate to work out the settlement details, and once everything was agreed upon, Bündchen and Brady did not have any reason to wait, the source told E! News.

Regarding where the two will be settling, it was said that the quarterback will remain to live in Tampa but will also be visiting Miami as he also has a residence there. Bündchen is settling in Miami.
