And it is true. Relocating during the festive season does have it's downsides.

Kids are out of school

One of the biggest advantages of relocating over the Christmas holidays is that school is out. It also means that they won't have to deal with the stress of starting a new school in the middle of the semester, which can be a difficult and challenging thing to do. Kids might find it disruptive
