Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews, his wife, have officially welcomed their new bundle of joy. The American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL or National Football League and his high school sweetheart's new son arrived on Monday, November 28. They named him Patrick 'Bronze' Lavon Mahomes III.

Mahomes wrote on Instagram alongside a sweet snap of her bundle joy's tiny feet. The long-term couple first announced their second pregnancy in May 2022 in a joint Instagram post of the two with their 16-month-old daughter, Sterling, holding up a sign that says: "Big sister duties coming soon."

The couple shared another joint Instagram post in June in which they announced the sex of the baby. Mahomes and Matthews, 27 years old, shot water guns, and blue water sprayed out that eventually confirmed the sex of the baby, a boy.

The couple, which dates ten years, spent the rest of their summer traveling with their eldest child to celebrate. They also posted numerous photos together in tropical areas.

The two kept busy while waiting for the 2nd baby

The couple kept busy with work while awaiting their second child. The certified personal trainer started her collaboration with the athletic wear brand Vitality and called it the "Skye Collection," named after her daughter, born in February 2021.

The entrepreneur shared in a video on Twitter about a new collection, stating that she was glad by the fact that her daughter entirely inspired the concept, and for her, as a mom, it's the best feeling in the globe.

The former collegiate soccer player has also pursued expanding her personal training program, "Brittany Lynne Fitness," which is mainly designed for individuals to grow muscles, tone, and get strong. She also shared that she received several backlashes after sharing workout snaps and videos on her social media from her first pregnancy.

Said that working out is not good during pregnancy and can harm the baby and what she only told them is to do their own research as there's a lot of information that can be learned, US Magazine reported.

A love story that's fit for a movie

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews first met in high school.

The high school love story can typically be seen in movies or a book, but such can also happen in real life, just like in Patrick and Brittany's love story.

The two first met when they were teenagers. They managed to make an LDR or long-distance relationship work while excelling in their chosen collegiate athletic career before becoming professional athletes.

Mahomes is the part (quarterback) of the Kansas City Chiefs, while Brittany recently contended internationally as a pro soccer player in Iceland.

Despite myriad attainments, their pride and joy is their daughter, whom they welcomed in 2021. A year later, the two tied the knot in Maui, Hawaii.

Their eldest served as a flower girl during their wedding ceremony.

The couple is still happily together, which can be seen in their posts on social media being sweet to each other.

Patrick and Brittany were also spotted in an Instagram Reel posted by ESPN and Sports Center during Mahomes' play the day before, where the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback could be seen jogging to the sidelines to smooch his pregnant wife, People reported.
