YouTuber Mom Receives Hate Comments For Riding Jet Ski With Baby Without Life Jacket

Ria Ricis, a popular YouTuber from Indonesia, has received an overwhelming number of hate comments on her recent social media posting.

Ricis took her infant child, who is only 5 months old, to the beach. She documented their vacation in a video that they uploaded to YouTube and Instagram.

However, the mother received an insurmountable amount of hate comments as they called her out for putting her baby at risk in riding with them in the Jet Ski without any life vest on.

After releasing a video on social media that showed their child riding a Jet Ski without a life jacket, a pair of social media influencers are now facing waves of outrage from their followers.

Ricis can be seen on the beach getting her young daughter Moana ready for some enjoyable time at the beach in the video that is named "Moana (rides) the Jet Ski for the First Time."

The Indonesian YouTuber took her family out for some fun on a jet ski, and she documented it.

The YouTuber mom posted a short clip on her Instagram account and the longer version of the video on her YouTube channel, which has 30.8 million subscribers.

According to TODAY, Moana, their 5-month-old infant, is initially dressed with a pink and orange vest that has what looks to be the function of a flotation device.

After that, she is brought out into the water and placed on a jet ski that is being driven by his father, Teuku Ryan.

While Ricis is holding the infant and sitting behind him, the couple is filming themselves taking selfies during their ride.

There was a part in the video where Ryan steers the jet ski with his right hand while holding their baby on his left, while his wife, Ricis, is at the back holding a selfie stick to record their ride.

That part shows that Moana has no vest on and is in danger of an accident.

The Couple Publicly Apologizes

Ricis is one of the most influential content creators in Indonesia. She usually makes videos in the lifestyle niche, sharing her everyday life.

Recently, the YouTuber has been sharing a glimpse of the new chapter of her life: motherhood and raising her daughter.

According to Insider, numerous parents, fans, and most of the people who saw the video online got triggered as to how she potentially endangered her child.

Since then, Ria's videos have gone viral, and many internet users have voiced their disapproval of both her and her husband.

Concern was voiced in a number of people's comments underneath the post, the majority of which were originally posted in Indonesian.

Some commentators say that Ricis should be ashamed of herself. Other viewers see what they did as irresponsible.

Viewers are criticizing the couple for placing their priority on choosing to document the moment for their vlog rather than making sure their child is safe.

However, according to SAYS, since the content has garnered controversy, the couple has since apologized to the public. Both admitted that they were wrong and issued a public apology.
