Snowplow Crushes' Avenger' Star Jeremy Renner as He Tries to Save Nephew

Hollywood star Jeremy Renner, 52, was trying to save his nephew.

The Marvel superhero Hawkeye actor was in critical condition at the start of this year due to a snowplow accident.

The actor was trying to stop his snow removal tractor from sliding and hitting his grown nephew when he was pulled under the vehicle and crushed on New Year's Day.

According to CNN, the accident began when Renner's nephew's truck got stuck in the snow on the actor's driveway on New Year's Day. Renner hauled it off the driveway using his snowplow.

After towing the truck onto the roadway, the snowplow started to slide sideways, and then it started rolling down the hill. Renner climbed down from the Pistenbully snow groomer and ran away.

However, he quickly became aware that the snowplow was moving in the direction of his nephew and was likely to crush him.

The Marvel actor decided to thwart the Pistenbully by attempting to get into the cab via the moving track, resulting in him getting pulled under.

The Pistenbully rolled over Renner and continued down the road. He laid down on the ground and concentrated on his breathing as his nephew and several other people assisted him before emergency professionals arrived at the site.

Renner was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital and underwent an emergency operation the next day. It will take some time for Renner to heal from his injuries.

According to People, the investigations conducted by the police indicated that the brake light indication was not functioning properly, and it is possible that mechanical problems contributed to this incident.

Even though the PistenBully had several mechanical flaws, it was assumed that the parking brake would prevent it from going forward based on police assessment.

Renner complained of having significant trouble breathing on the right side of his chest as he was being carried to the hospital, and he immediately fainted after arriving there.

In addition, the upper portion of his body appeared to have collapsed. It was determined by the medical professionals who responded to Renner that the actor sustained orthopedic injuries and acute chest trauma as a result of shattering more than 30 bones in his body.

The Marvel actor spent two weeks in the hospital and is now on his journey to recovery. Renner went on Instagram to update his friends and fans on his health.

He said that the accident spawned his entire family, and morning workouts, resolutions, and routines this new year have remarkably changed.

He expressed gratitude for all the love and well wishes from his fans, family, and the people he worked with.

Renner assured everyone that the 30 or so broken bones in his body would continue to mend and grow stronger.

According to HuffPost, his Marvel buddies, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans commented, both sending him love in his recovery.

Evans even jokingly commented, asking Renner how the snowcat vehicle was doing, while Hemsworth praised him for championing this ordeal.
