The chocolate-and-toy-in-one treat that has been a favorite of American children once again invites families to hop into an "egg-citing" Easter Egg Hunt with the seasonal offering, activities, and prizes.

Kinder Joy, the unique egg-shaped chocolate treat with a surprise toy inside, returns to families nearest local zoos and aquariums across America to bring fun and "imaginative Easter egg hunts" to kids and adults, PR Newswire reported.

More than scavenger hunts with many Kinder Joy prizes, families and kids can enjoy breakfast with the animals and have a fun learning experience about animals and fishes from zoo and aquarium ambassadors.

"Fostering moments of play between parents and their children that inspire joy, spark imagination and spur excitement is what Kinder Joy is all about. We are thrilled to build on the success of our initial partnership last year with zoos across the country to ensure connection and fun are at the center of shared family experiences during this Easter season and beyond," Vice President of Kinder Joy brand Miguel Zorilla expressed.

'Egg-citing' activities and prizes in-store

Participants will also enjoy Kinder Joy's Easter-themed eggs with a collection of 12 toys inspired by fun outdoor games like sack race, soccer, and basket and ring toss.

Kids will also have the chance to grab various seasonal and limited offerings like the Kinder Chocolate mini eggs, Kinder chocolate-filled figures, and the Kinder six-count spring animal hollow figures.

The "egg-citing" event will start on March 25 at Dallas Zoo and continue in April at Bergen County Zoo and San Francisco Zoo. On April 2, Kinder Joy Easter Egg Hunt will serve families and kids at San Francisco Zoo and Phoenix Zoo. The rest of the events are on Easter Sunday, April 8, at Lincoln Park Zoo, Cincinnati Zoo, and Ripley's Aquarium of Smokies.

At Lincoln Zoo, the event is dubbed Spring Egg-Stravaganza. It is going to be a fun-filled day with scavenger hunts for every age group, meet, greet and photo sessions with the Easter Bunny, a fun musical performance by Mary Macaroni and the Impastas, free rides on the Lionel Train Adventure, and the AT&T Endangered Species Carousel, a chat time about spring with zoo animal horticulture experts, a farewell parade of the Easter Bunny and loads of other outdoor games and activities.
