Sarah Snook, best known for her role as Shiv Roy on the Emmy-winning series "Succession," has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Dave Lawson.

The announcement was made at the red carpet premiere of the show's fourth and final season in New York City.

The 35-year-old actress looked stunning in a form-fitting black jumpsuit that highlighted her baby bump, which she paired with a silver, floor-length cover-up and matching diamond necklace.

According to People, Snook and Lawson, both Australian actors, had known each other since 2014 but fell in love while quarantining together in 2020.

After being quarantined together during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Snook and Lawson married in a private ceremony in February 2021, as the actress disclosed in October of the same year.

This announcement followed the couple's second wedding anniversary celebration. The actress revealed that she is already 32 weeks pregnant and feels great.

Although she was pregnant while filming the show's final season, she assured fans it wasn't distracting from all the action.

Snook said that her growing belly wasn't super big at the time of filming, and viewers couldn't tell.

As per TODAY, Snook's announcement surprised many, given that she had kept her pregnancy under wraps until the red carpet premiere.

The news has been well-received, with fans and colleagues congratulating her on social media.

Snook's announcement also comes as "Succession" builds up to its sure-to-be-dramatic conclusion.

The actor shared that she didn't know this would be the show's last season until the final script was read in January.

She admitted to feeling a sense of sadness, loss, and disappointment but added that everything has to end, and it's wise not to let something become a parody of itself.
