The Band Perry's Creative Break

Perry's announcement comes on the heels of another piece of major news for the singer, that she and her brothers, Reid and Neil Perry, are taking a "creative break" from their band.

The mother-to-be was recently signed to Records Nashville as a solo artist.

Based on ET, The Band Perry wrote a statement in March for their fans saying that they wanted to let them know that the three of them had decided to take a creative break as a group and each focus on their individual creative pursuits.

During this season, they will continue to support each other as artists and family in all they do. The band thanked their fans, saying they made their childhood dreams come true.

The Band Perry is an American country music group that was formed in Ridgeland, Mississippi, in 2005. The band is composed of siblings Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry, and Neil Perry.

The Band Perry is best known for their hit singles, "If I Die Young" and "Better Dig Two," both of which topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

"If I Die Young" was released in 2010 and became a crossover hit, reaching the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earning the band numerous awards and nominations, including a Grammy nomination for Best Country Song.

"Better Dig Two" was released in 2012 and also topped the Hot Country Songs chart, becoming the band's second number-one hit. Other popular songs by The Band Perry include "Don't Let Me Be Lonely," "Done," and "Chainsaw."

Perry's solo venture is an exciting new chapter for the singer, who has already accomplished so much with her brothers as The Band Perry.

While the news of the trio's creative break may come as a surprise to fans, it's clear that they will continue to support each other as they pursue their individual artistic endeavors.
