Moto X Force Specs & Update: Release Date Confirmed, 21-MP Dual Camera, Quad-Core, 3GB RAM & More [Specs, Price & Where To Buy]

Motorola is reportedly releasing a new Moto X Force smartphone this December and it will be exclusive to Verizon in the United States.

The new device is said to have already received its 3C certification as model XT1581, according to Mobile Dad (see translation). Based on the report, the mobile phone is expected to have TD-LTE support.  When it goes on sale in the United States, it will be called the "Motorola Droid Turbo 2" instead of "Moto X Force," with Verizon as its official service provider.

Specifications for the Droid Turbo 2 supposedly include a spacious 5.43-inch glass display with a QHD screen resolution that has an impressive 1,440 x 2,560 pixels range. What's more, the glass display is reportedly unbreakable, according to Phone Arena, which should be a huge pull for those who are looking for a sturdy and resilient gadget for very active users.

Inside the device, the Droid Turbo 2 will reportedly be fixed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset that works compatibly with its octa-core processor. The graphics will be courtesy of Adreno 430 GPU, while running on a 3 GB of RAM.

As for the camera features, the Droid Turbo 2 is expected to come with a 5-megapixel camera on the front side and a 21-megapixel camera in the back. Both cameras have a powerful LED flash. This makes the device's features flexible enough to allow for taking gorgeous panoramic shots, and it also comes with face detection and geotagging. Meanwhile, for using videos, the camera offers a maximum video support at 1080p at 60fps. It's quite a reliable device.

The Droid Turbo 2 is set to run on an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will include a non-removable 3,760 mAh battery that is enough to support all of the video and audio files.  It will also have the capacity to edit photos and videos, as previous devices have done in the past. Meanwhile, data space for the phone has three different options for its users in either 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB microSD card, according to GSM Arena.

However, take note that these specs report remain unconfirmed, so expect additional features or changes once Motorola announces the official market launch.

Price base is also still unknown at this point, but Motorola previously released a similar device, the Moto X Style, for $399 in the United States last August. However, the Droid Turbo 2's Chinese counterpart sells for 4,000 yuan, according to IB Times, which roughly converts to $630 in the United States.
