Although most of us would probably send a thoughtful but simple gift, card or flowers to our moms for Mother's Day, celebrities tend to take a different approach, including getting their mama a hot new pair of wheels!

As USA Today reports, what better way to reward those who taught you the value of success and hard work than with a reward for said success?

Web2Carz.com has taken a closer look at the kind of cars celebrities have bought for their mothers, which are usually a lot nicer than the cars that most people are driving.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, actor and part-time pro wrestler, purchased a white Cadillac Escalade for his mother on Christmas last year. The gift wasn't just for show, as it had special sentimental value to Johnson and his mom.

"At 14 I saw my mom crying about our only car being repossessed," he tweeted at the time. "This felt good. #MerryXmasMom."

The legendary Elvis Presley also bought a Cadillac for his mama, only it was pink! 

Superstar Kanye West is known for his fierce love of his mother Donda, whose untimely death prompted him to go into a deep state of depression. Though he has since lost her, he decided to do something special for the mother of his girlfriend Kim Kardashian, and bought her mother Kris Jenner a $200,000 Bentley in a bid to gain her approval last year, according to Hollyscoop via AOL ON.

According to Hollyscoop, Jenner told Kardashian that she was grateful for the gift, but West's money can't buy her approval!
