'Frozen 2' Plot & Trailer: Magical Twist Happening With The Sisters? Anna's 'Power' Highlighted In Sequel? [Rumors]

What would people expect in a sequel to a hit animated movie that got a lot of fans hooked? A better show, of course. Right now, speculations regarding “Frozen 2,” the sequel to the hit Disney film, are circulating.

According to Christian Today, rumors say that as the first movie focused on Elsa, the sequel will probably focus this time on her sister Anna. Additionally, Anna is rumored to have a power of her own: as Elsa has ice and winter powers, Anna is rumored to have power over fire and summer.

Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee debunked that rumor in an interview with Hit-Fix. When questioned if Anna does possess some form of superpower, Buck replied, "Her superpower is love. That's Anna's superpower."

Lee added, "You know, like a mama bear can raise a car off their kid with their super strength, love is very powerful."

Although no confirmation has been given regarding Anna having some powers of her own, fans are hoping for something more than just “love.”

Speaking of love, rumors speculate that Elsa will have a love interest in Frozen 2. According to Movie Pilot, that remains a rumor.

For sure, viewers will see more of Elsa. Buck has teased some details about her in the upcoming sequel:

"In Frozen she had such a dramatic journey, and at the end she's just starting to feel like she can open up and have some fun again. That's what was really good about Frozen Fever -- we could have fun with Elsa. And that personality... you will see in the next one."

Also, fans will get to have more of the sister relationship that Anna and Elsa have. Buck and Lee confirmed this, saying that the movie has “two very strong female leads,” and that they as protagonists are essential to the success of the story.

Additionally, the creative team is planning on sending a message to society.

"We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with,” said Buck. “I think we’re very aware of what is happening in society."

Another big rumor that circulates is in regards to the hit song from the first film.

Rumors say that in order to top "Let It Go," Frozen 2 will probably feature a new song that will equal or surpass the first, and maybe it'll be a duet between the sisters Anna and Elsa. This, according to Movie Pilot, is the most likely of rumors to actually happen in the sequel.

Fans will just have to wait for Frozen 2 to see what'll happen.
