Lamar Odom Update: Khloe Kardashian Putting 'Her Life On Hold', Star Leaving KUWTK To Care For Lamar? [Rumors]

Their marriage might be over, but clearly their relationship is not. The divorced couple Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are obviously still committed into supporting each other, especially in difficult times.

The former NBA star Odom made headlines after being confined to the hospital, where he was in coma for a couple of days. The basketball player was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and authorities confirmed that they found cocaine on his system, suggesting that he had been using it days before he was hospitalized, Huffington Post reports.

Odom is now recovering. On Tuesday, his aunt JaNean Mercer and family released a statement expressing their gratitude to the doctors and nurses who look after him at the Las Vegas hospital. The family is still urging his supporters to continue their prayers for him, CNN has learned.

"As Lamar begins a new chapter in his road to recovery, PLEASE continue to uplift him and the family in prayer. He continues to make miraculous progress, taking a few steps in Los Angeles. We couldn't be more overjoyed!" the family said in their statement. "We realize Lamar's continued improvement will not be easy, however his unrelenting strength and faith in GOD will pull him through."

While others keep on praying for Odom, his ex-wife "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star Khloe Kardashian did not just settle with praying for her estranged husband, she wanted to take a break from their reality show "KUWTK" to care for Lamar.

"She has no plans to resume filming Keeping up with the Kardashians, and will continue to be at the hospital every day with Lamar," an insider told Radar Online.

Unfortunately, Kris Jenner is not happy with Khloe's decision because she is a huge part of the show. Kris is hoping that Khloe will change her mind because she also doesn't want to play hardball with Khloe by reminding her that she is obligated to be on the show as stipulated in her contract.

"The rest of the family is also very concerned that Khloe is putting her life on hold for Lamar," added the insider. "This recovery could take months. There are commitments that Khloe is obligated to do, and she just can't not show up. It's causing a lot of stress."

Aside from putting her life on hold, Khloe is also willing to help Lamar with his medical expenses. In fact, Jenner was concerned that Khloe decided to pay Lamar's expensive helicopter ride which costs her $120,000.

Meanwhile, Lamar seems to appreciate Khloe's effort. The athlete has made "a little bit  of progress" and has told Khloe "I love you," CNN has learned.
