Adele New Album 2015: Everything We Know So Far About The Singer's Third Record

Adele came to the music industry like a roaring thunder. Her album, "21," had three Billboard No.1 singles and 10 million copies sold in the U.S., per TIME. Now, the Grammy Award winner is back to the studio for her much-awaited album titled "25." Will the siren capture our hearts again with the ultimate break-up playlist or will she take a different path?

In a recent Facebook post, Adele, 27, opened up about her latest album. The “Turning Tables” singer said that the songs in "25" will have a different theme from her previous album.

She wrote, “My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record. I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.”

Adele further discussed the significance of the number 25 and why she chose it as the album's title.

“Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties. Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully-fledged adult, I made the decision to go into becoming who I’m going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk."

She wrote, “25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realising. And I’m sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened.”

According to TIME, “25” will have a star-studded list of collaborators including Max Martin, who has produced 21 top singles and worked with Taylor Swift and the Weeknd; Danger Mouse of Gnarls Barkley; and Tobias Jesso Jr., who was included in Time's list of "Best Songs of 2015 So Far.” Sia, known for writing songs for Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kelly Clarkson and Kylie Minogue, will also be part of Adele’s team.

There's been a mix of opinions regarding Adele's new album. In an article on Capital FM, Ed Sheeran recently revealed what he knows about Adele's new album. The "Thinking Out Loud" singer said, “I haven’t heard [the record], but everyone I know who’ve worked on it is just like, ‘Dude… that record!’ Apparently it’s really good!”

However, Damon Albarn thinks otherwise. In a report from Contact Music, citing The Sun newspaper, Albarn told that Adele and Danger Mouse's collaboration is "very middle of the road."

Contact music notes that "25" could be released by the end of 2015. Here's a sneak peek of the album, which was also aired over the weekend on "X Factor" in the U.K.
