Gwen Stefani Divorce: Singer Settles Divorce Terms With Ex Gavin Rossdale; Will Share Custody of Kids

It's official. Gwen Stefani's divorce from ex-husband Gavin Rossdale has been settled barely three months after announcing their split.

According to TMZ, Gwen and Gavin, who were married for 13 years, were able to thresh out their differences and came up with an agreement right away. The news outlet said that the divorce proceedings went fast and smooth because Rossdale didn't go after his wife's money.

While the ex-couple didn't have any pre-nuptial agreement signed, there didn't seem to be issues with money and assets division. In fact, TMZ said that Gavin took less than half of what was entitled to him despite California law allowing him to get a 50-percent share.

Earlier, Radar Online reported that the divorce mediation has gotten ugly as Gavin apparently demanded  to get their Beverly Hills mansion, a $50 million settlement and spousal support.  "It absolutely disgusts Gwen that he is asking for so much money after she feels he betrayed her," an insider allegedly told the news outlet.

Meanwhile, the judge also granted Gwen and Gavin shared custody of their three children, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 19 months, according to Us Weekly. But the kids will be likely staying with their dad more, following Gwen's busy touring schedule in the coming months, according to DListed.

Gwen and Gavin announced their split in August via a press statement published on E! Online and several news outlets. "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time." They cited irreconcilable differences as the cause for the divorce.

Back then, a source told Us Weekly in another report that the split was not a surprise. "It only looks sudden, but everything was worked out months ago so paperwork could be filed and the marriage could be ended quickly and easily," revealed the insider. "Things were rocky before [the birth of Apollo], but they tried to make the marriage work. But it just couldn't. A lot of the feeling was gone."

Meanwhile, following the the finality of her divorce, Gwen was seen spending time with her children at Shawn's Pumpkin Patch over the weekend. According to Daily Mail, the No Doubt lead singer watched over her kids as they picked out and carried pumpkins and rode ponies.
