Kim Kardashian Baby Shower: Inside Reality Star's 'Troop Beverly Hills'-Themed Shower [Photos]

Kim Kardashian's baby shower was canceled due to the sudden news of her brother-in-law Lamar Odom falling in a coma. However, with the former Los Angeles star on his way to recovery, Kim Kardashian has now pushed through with a "Troop Beverly Hills"-themed baby shower.

According to a report from TMZ, the baby shower, which was held in the living room of the Kardashians' Beverly Hills home, was inspired by the 1989 film "Troop Beverly Hills," a play on one of Kim's favorite childhood movies. "Troop Beverly Hills" tells the story of divorcee Phyllis Nefler (plated by Shelley Long) which assembles her troop of Wilderness Girls and roughs it up at the Beverly Hills Hotel and eventually proves to her husband and the whole community that she's not just a "spoiled Beverly Hills resident" by leading her Wilderness Girls to an annual scouting jamboree.

Sticking true to the theme, the Kardashians dressed up their living room with teepees while having some thin mints and samoas. Kylie even posted a photo of the "Troop Beverly Hills"-themed baby shower on Instagram, showing her and Kourtney in their jammies while sitting in their own tents and sipping tea. Of course, with sunglasses on for added coolness. Kylie captioned the picture, "just our usual morning routine #troopbeverlyhills #sipstea."

Meanwhile, Kendall also posted a picture of the Kardashian brood in their striped jammies on Instagram, captioning it simply with "sister Sunday." In the picture, it's uprising to see Khloe present in the baby shower. According to Daily Mail, Khloe found time to leave Odom's side for a bit to attend Kim's baby shower, which was canceled last week due to Lamar's sudden health incident. The news outlet also reported that besides the Kardashian and Jenner girls, also present in the baby shower is Kris and Caitlyn Jenner.

Jezebel notes that Kim's "Troop Beverly Hills"-themed baby shower is a big improvement from her 35th birthday celebration, where guests were forced to wear fake baby bumps. According to an Instagram post of Kim during her birthday, "My husband never ceases the amaze me! He rented out the entire movie theater to screen the new Steve Jobs (It's sooooo good BTW) and had all of my family & close friends come dressed up as their best pregnant Kim look (fake baby bumps provided on arrival!) Not sure if that was to make me feel less huge or just a fun cool theme but I loved it & had the best time ever, feeling so very comfortable eating churros with a bunch of pregnant women! Just what I needed, the perfect chill yummy food birthday!!!!"
