'Game of Thrones' Star Emilia Clarke Turns 29; 5 Interesting Facts About The Actress

Everybody loves her as Daenerys Targaryen in the popular HBO fantasy-drama series "Game of Thrones." Just recently she's been proclaimed the sexiest women alive by Esquire magazine. Indeed, there is so much to celebrate for Emilia Clarke, who just turned 29 on Oct. 26.

According to Hollywood Life, Emilia had a pretty amazing year and the gorgeous actress stripped down for a sexy photo shoot. No wonder, many men include her in their fantasy. But did you know that the "Mother of Dragons" is more than just a pretty face?

Here are five interesting facts about Clarke, according to International Business Times.

1. She is talented. Well, fans might consider her outstanding performance in "Game of Thrones" as the best part of the actress but unknown to many she is a total performer. Her talent is not limited to acting. Clarke is also skilled at ballads, blues and jazz singing. She can play the piano, flute, and guitar. Isn't that interesting? Had Clarke failed to make it on TV or big screens she would have been an architect, a singer or a graphic designer.

2. She is a hard worker. Prior to Clarke's success in the film industry, she had also gone through financial problems. Life was not easy for Emilia. While some just go to school and concentrate on their studies, Emilia had to push herself to limits to pursue her dreams. As a student, the actress had to work five jobs to pay the rent.

3. She is into physical activities. Clarkes gorgeous figure could be attributed to her activities. "I've been shooting guns, weight lifting, kick-boxing and generally kicking a lot of ass," Emilia told InStyle. She also does horseback riding, ice skating, rowing and running.

4. She was bullied at school. Emilia told Allure via Swide that she had been bullied at school for her eyebrows. She shared that her mom told her not to touch her eyebrows and that she will be thankful when she's older and she is.

5. She is unrecognizable in her dark hair. Although Clarke has a platinum blonde in "Game of Thrones," in real life she is dark haired. For this reason, people do not recognize her easily when she walks through the street. The actress said it rarely happens when a fan recognized her in her natural locks.
