'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 Cast & Plot: Merida Attempts To Kill Belle, Rumple To Rescue The Damsel In Distress? [Details]

Several fans are looking forward to the forthcoming episodes of the modern-legend fairytale "Once Upon A Time." The show will surely bring another set of excitement among fans and viewers as it features the encounter involving Merida, Belle and Rumple.

"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 Episode 6 entitled "The Bear and the Bow" features the adventure of Merida with Belle in saving Merida's brothers from the usurping clans of DunBroch. Merida doesn't want to leave things by fate and her journey with Belle will culminate in an invaluable lesson of bravery, International Business Times reported.

The report suggested that Emma ordered Merida to kill Belle in the hopes of forcing Mr. Gold's heroic transformation. Merida was not all up for the job, but she could not just ignore Emma's command. "I tried to fight it, but I couldn't," the redhead princess told Gold who begs her not to heed Emma, Christian Today has learned. "So now her fate rests in your hands," said Merida as she aims her crossbow at Belle.

Unfortunately, Rumple was limp and weak that he couldn't even fight back, but he needs to have the courage to fight and save Belle or else he will lose her forever. Did Rumple save Belle?

ComicBook.com shared that Merida's archery abilities falter under pressure that's why she believes she needs magic to saver her brothers. But, when she drank the potion which should turn her into a bear nothing happens, and Belle admitted she switched it with water because she believes Merida can beat the enemies without magic potions. When the leader and his men shoot Merida's brothers with three arrows, she stopped it with a single arrow and earned the respect of the rebel group.

Meanwhile, Rumple and Belle reunite tearfully and they went into the pawnshop to find a magic that will help them. Merida finds them together and was determined to kill Belle, but Belle saw her and pulls out the rug beneath her which knocks Merida out.

Rumple couldn't be a better man for Belle and tried to get her across the Storybrooke borderline, but she did not comply. He admitted that he crippled himself to get out of the Ogre War, Belle left him. But on her return, Merida was more dangerous after she took the potion that turned her into a bear. Rumple who couldn't even stand was willing to die for Belle. He rescued Belle by turning Merida into her human form using the potion he got  from the shop.

Then, the show features Rumple proposing to Emma that he will pull the Excalibur from the stone if Emma frees Merida, to which the latter comply. Emma returns Merida's heart and told her that her brothers are safe, before pulling, the sword Rumple apologizes to Belle for not being a better man. He pulled the sword and gave it to Emma.

"Once Upon A Time" airs every Sunday 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
