If you just bought your HTC One A9, the popularity of your device might soon be overtaken by the anticipated arrival of HTC One X9. According to Digital Trends, a new photo of the handset leaked from China's microblogging site Weibo. The snapshot sports promising features that will surely convince users the potential of the anticipated smartphone.

Android Authority reported that the talks about the promising smartphone come with a set of stunning specs and beautiful promotional flyer. However, some are still doubtful because the rumored gadget looks like it comes from the M series handset.

In the promotional photo, the gadget stands in a beautiful background with a tag line "HTC One X9 pursuit of brilliance" at the bottom of the device where the words "Packed with city smarts." According to Know Your Mobile the choice for the device's processor is made between Snapdragon 820 and Mediatek Helio X20. The leak revealed that One X9 is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor. Thus, more likely between the two choices, the company selected the first processor.

HTC One X9 also comes with a 5-inch 2,560 x 1440 pixel-display, which is a huge upgrade considering that the current flagship One A9 only comes with 1,920 x 1,080-pixel screen per Digital Trends. Moreover, it has BoomSound speakers which are also missing in HTC One A9.

Another notable feature of HTC One X9 is its storage. It has 4GB of RAM and internal storage that can either be 64 GB or 128 GB. It has a metal build with an impressive 23MP rear camera and a 4MP ultra pixel front-facing camera, Design & Trend has learned. HTC One A9 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, this suggests that the upcoming handset will also be running the latest version of Google's Android OS.

HTC One X9 will be priced at around 2,999 Yuan or about $472. The price is slightly lower than that of HTC One A9, which was being sold at $499.99 in the U.S. This suggests that an upgraded phone will slightly be cheaper and for sure many will be delighted with this.
