Josh Duggar, Anna Duggar Divorce: Josh Asks Anna for Baby No. 5 to Save Failing Marriage [Rumors]

There have been a lot of rumors in the past stating how Josh Duggar is pleading Anna Duggar from leaving him. Now, Hollywood Life reports that Josh is asking his wife for another baby to stop their divorce. Will a fifth child save Josh and Anna's failing marriage?

It's been a rough year for the family of Jim Bob and Michele Duggar as their eldest son, Josh, has been in hot water since early this year, per a previous report from Parent Herald. This summer, rumors of Josh sexually molesting underage girls, including his sisters Jessa and Jill Duggar, during his teenage years has been confirmed. However, the controversy did not stop there. Josh's name also appeared as one of the users of the infidelity website, Ashley Madison. Apparently, Josh had two active accounts, where he spent almost $1,000, per Gawker.

Now, according to Hollywood Life, Josh fears that Anna will not be there to welcome him from rehab. A source said, “Josh is so worried that Anna will leave him that he is now convinced she will stay if he can persuade her they should have another child together. He’s been begging her not to leave him and that they were meant to have another baby."

However, the insider said that Josh's might be in for a disappointment as Anna is not planning to get pregnant again.

"Unfortunately for Josh, getting pregnant is the last thing on Anna’s mind. She’s been a single parent for the last few months and she knows that having another child is not going to fix their marriage. Josh hasn’t given up though. He is still trying to convince her, at least this is what he always brings up during their limited conversations," the source added.

Apart from asking for another child, Jim Bob has been rumored to make several moves to persuade Anna from divorcing Josh. According to a report from Parent Herald, Jim Bob offered Anna a fancy mansion in their Arkansas estate to lure her. In the past months, Anna has been reportedly living in her parent's humble abode, and transferring to a huge house will be a big leap for her and her kids.

An insider from another Hollywood Life report revealed, "He (Jim Bob) wants to see them back together, all happy and smiley, but it’s not going to be that easy, at least not if Anna can help it." However, Anna reportedly rejected Jim Bob's offer, saying that what's important for her at the moment is "real healing" and not live in a big house to "put on the happy family show."
