'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers: Ian McShane Teases Role, 'I Am Responsible For Bringing Somebody Back' -- Will It Be Jon Snow? [Rumors]

The hype about "Game of Thrones" season 6 grows as we near its premiere date. There are endless talks about the upcoming season since season 5 ended because many are looking forward to seeing the crowd-favorite character Jon Snow.

The "Kings" star Ian McShane will be joining the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones". Unfortunately, his role remains a mystery but the actor teases his involvement in the next season of HBO' hit series. His revelation may not mean anything to some but for those following the series it somehow confirmed a long-cherished theory relating to a fan favorite character.

"I'll give you one hint," McShane told Pop Goes The News on Thursday, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. "I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you're never going to see again. I'll leave it at that."

Fans were quick to speculate that McShane will be significant in the return of Snow, the character played by Kit Harington. In "Game of Thrones" season 5 finale, the Lord Commander of the Night's watch was stabbed to death by his comrades. Fans were torn whether the character was dead or if he will resurrect in the upcoming episode.

McShane's role in "Game of Thrones" has sparked several speculations due to its secrecy. Watchers On The Wall reported that the actor is unlikely to be Randyll Tarly or Aeron Greyjoy. Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly disclosed that his role has a "relatively small amount" of screen time but is a significant one.

The "John Wick" star revealed that his gig in "Game of Thrones" is "a one-off episode," and it is for this reason that he did it. "But I can't reveal anything, otherwise I will never work again," McShane added.

Parent Herald previously reported that HBO's programming president Michael Lombardo has already confirmed of Snow's death. "Dead is dead is dead is dead. He be dead. Yes," he said. "Everything I've seen and heard and read, Jon Snow is indeed dead."

On a separate report from Parent Herald, there were new theories speculating the return of Snow. Harington was spotted in the location where "Game of Thrones" shoot for the upcoming season and to the surprise of many the actor was not a mere spectator, he was involved in the shooting. The actor was spotted in Belfast in the past months and many believes that he is not just shooting for a funeral scene.

However, Harington already revealed that his character is dead. "But I've been told I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season. So that's all I can tell you, really," he said.

We will see, "Game of Thrones" season 6 is expected to premiere on Spring 2016.
